i need new jokes, i know. anyway, you can imagine my surprise when i booted up fields of mistria for the first time in like eight months to find that i had named my farmer "The Freak Queen"... like what the fuck is that about.

Anyway this is The Freak Queen, or "TFQ," she's a 36yo former adventurer. Forced into retirement after losing her leg, she spent her days in the back of her local tavern, drinking and smoking herself into a stupor, hating her life. Her mom saw the notice in the Capital and mailed it to her, then sent her letters urging her to go every single day until she finally relented and hobbled on over. Repairing some dumb backwater town should be a cake walk, even with a prosthetic leg... It's no grand adventure, but at least she gets a free house....

I like to think that old picture is from her application to the adventurer's guild twenty years beforehand lmao but really it was me trying to draw in that Sailor Moon, retro anime type style that FoM has going on
