Instead of the new dogshit Odyssey film you should watch Iphigenia (1977). It’s made by actual Greek people and focuses on a mother-daughter relationship to explore how women are sacrificed by powerful men in times of war. Also the main actress has the face of an angel 🙏 the whole movie is available on YT with English subtitles.

If you are from Tennessee, contact your representatives and make it clear that the people do not want this data center. This is an AZA accredited zoo which is home to several species of critically endangered animals, we NEED to protect it. Make your voice heard!

The Amur Leopard and Clouded Leopard (which recently celebrated its 50th cub born at the zoo!)

Data centers have been recorded creating constant noise at a frequency outside the human range of hearing but which still causes severe issues. This could be even worse with animals that have more sensitive hearing than humans do.

We don't need to wait years to find out these things cause real harm to the communities near them, we have proof already.

I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."

idk i think you should make this character's heterosexuality relevant to the narrative. i mean why are they cis if it's not servicing the plot. you can't just throw story elements in for no reason if you're gonna make an able bodied character it should really serve a purpose. like why are they white are you just trying to fill a checklist? :/

Okay, I see way to many people think the scene where Takeru goes to punch The Kasier/Ken as a "cool badass" moment with Takeru when that is not just it. It shows us so much about Takeru's character, so let me explain how important it is and why it shouldn't be boiled down.

Like, I'm not going to say it wasn't at least a little badass for Takeru to go and punch The Kaiser, and the American English dub while giving him a really good speech with him being a snarky little shit, but it wasn't entirely that badass in the original Japanese version. Sure, Takeru still says some very mature things, but it's not nearly as badass as the American English made it out to be.

It's also not the, "super cool and courageous", moment I've seen people say it is. I've seen many people say it was just a scene telling us that Takeru should have been the leader of Daisuke, but that's not what the scene is(completely ignoring that takeru would be a terrible leader) but this is not what this scene shows us about Takeru.

It shows us just how traumatized Takeru is. The mere sight of Devimon along makes Takeru lose all control he has, remembering the pain he felt three years ago and causing him to confront the Kaiser, which is a bad thing to do since Iori needed help freeing Digimon and the Kaiser could have just sent a Digimon after Takeru and kill him if Patamon wasn't strong enough to protect them.

It shows that Takeru loses control of himself when confronted with his traumas just like how he hides his emotions/feelings because he doesn't want to be seen as a burden. It shows us just how much the Digital World affected Takeru and how it will leave him with scars of the rest of his life as we've seen him lash out before in 02(at hikari in episode 13 which is also just turned into a shipping episode when it also shows us a lot about takeru and hikaris characters) and later a little bit in Tri.

The scene was also important plot wise as it helps Ken realize what he was doing was wrong, but that's also ignored in favor of people trying to boost Takeru up while completely ignoring what this episode shows us about his character. That's ignoring the fact that Takeru says in an CD drama that he regrets what he did to Ken(more specifically he says he gets embarrassed when he thinks about it) and Takeru probably doesn't like getting angry.

I know not everyone is like this, but I've seen some boil down this scene to just a "cool Takeru moment", when it's so much more than that. I also know most are probably just having their fun and do know the importance of this scene, but this is just something that annoys me. Trust me, Takeru is my favorite character, and that's why this annoys me because it's ignoring such an important scene for his character but some people just ignore it in favor of making Takeru into a character he isn't.

Again, I know not everyone is like this, but some are and I just think it's a misconception people have because of the American English dub and also a bunch of other things I won't get into but I just wanted to explain the important being this scene and maybe vent a little
