Winged people.
-Okay but peple with wings. People having wings specific to different birds, people with owl wings able to gracefully fly without making a sound, people with air diving bird wings (eagles, hawks, buzzards) who can fall for long distances but not break any bones if they land correctly, people with water bird wings who have water proof ones which dry very quickly.
-Society having sub groups among the subgroups each type of wings having stereotypes (eg. prey birds: Housewife/husband).
-Peoples wings become more colourful the more loved they feel.
-Wings that mimic their emotions many have learnt to keep them under control but some keep them tightly shut so they don’t seem obnoxious or knock everything over.
-People who dye their wings whether due to fashion trend or think their wings are boring.
-Laws in certain areas, like building sites and sky scrapers where you aren’t allowed to fly.
-Stress causing feathers to fall off.
-Everyone moults and gets a new and beautiful wingsthat stand out, this time of year is different for everyone.
-People with small wings wanting big fluffy ones, people with big fluffy ones veiwing their wings as clumsy and as a nuisance and wating smaller neat wings.
-A couple of people who beleive that certain wing types have certain personalities (like the zodiac but with wings) and devoting their lives to that belief. One example could be people with Robin wings are angry and arrogant.
-People with different sized lungs dependant on what altitude they can get to and how large their lungs are.
-Swimming with wings. Those who haven’t got water proof wings can buy a wax which makes them more sublime in the water.
-Wing competitions (like body building competitions and fashion competitions).
-Cameramen Kestrels (They can hover and stay in one place for a while kestrels are like helicopters)
-Little children wanting to fly but their wings aren’t big enough, usually you can learn to fly at 11-18 years of age.
-Teenagers who have had growth spurts unable to fly for a while cos their wings aren’t able to grow fast enough.
-Some people being natrually better at building muscle, or find it easier to gain fat and then find it hard to lose it due to their wing type.
-Flying police, paramedics and fire fighters who are strong af as they have to carry their equipment and suits/uniforms sometimes even carry others.
-Flying pizza man.
-Flying amazon delivery man who delivers loads of small packages at once.
Wiiinnnggggssss
on the note of winged people I’m doing a text-based game with winged people, not quite the same idea, they live in a completely different world, but have some similar technology to us :3
So, as my guildmates know, I got into a really bad car accident on the 10th of July that totaled my car completely; I’m lucky in that I wasn’t hurt beyond some minor bumps and bruises, but my only method of transportation has gone to he great scrapyard in the sky.
In what is both a blessing and a curse, I just quit my job to work on art and school fulltime for my final semester, which means while I have two months without a pressing need for a vehicle, I have no steady income to pay for a vehicle once I have one. So, I would really, really appreciate any and all business I can procure!
As such, my commissions are open, indefinitely!
I also have created a Paypal Donation link for anyone who’d like to help me out but isn’t interested in art, and a Ko-fi link here!

Hey guys, check out this QT-pies work! Liri is a sweetheart and does absolutely amazing designs - if you can afford to help her out or just signal boost it would be much appreciated!
I saw this repost earlier today and it shattered my heart.
Wonder how long it will take for some champion anon to chime in with “well you should be lucky anyone even cares about ur art” or “its on the internet so it’ll be reposted, deal with it”.
No.
There is no excuse for reposting art and it is perfectly reasonable for an artist to want credit, whether they draw fanart, sketches, official art, commercial art, art you like, art you don’t like, photos, cosplay, writing, literally anything.
Stop reposting art, please.
I am begging you. Stop.
Seriously. For most artists, posting their art online leads to freelance opportunities. If you don’t credit the artist how are they supposed to get those opportunities to further develop their art and make money.
Plus I don’t know if this is the case with every artist but most artists like to see the feedback their getting for their art whether it’s positive or a critique. And they enjoy getting acknowledged for the hard work they’ve put into that piece.
Please always tag any art you post!
Don’t just tag it though actually source it in the post description.
Tagging works for the original post itself, but once anyone happens to reblog it, they’re not going to see the tag unless they put it there themself
Honestly don’t even repost art?? Especially on tumblr where you can just reblog from the source. It’s unnecessary, and doesn’t really do the artist as much justice as even sourcing it would do.
DON’T. REPOST. ART.
REBLOG IT, DON’T REPOST IT
if u tell students not to fear mistakes, then don’t create and support the system that causes mistakes to be academically and psychologically devastating

Once on facebook I argued with 2 different men on 2 different subjects in 2 different groups. It had nothing to do with feminism. A few hours later, both men sent me private messages saying almost the exact same thing : one said “suck my dick” the other said “you should only open your mouth if it’s to suck dicks”. Another time I was discussing the pressure women face to shave their armpit hair and this guy replied “nobody gives a fuck about your pubes lmao”.
When women debate men, men often end up making lured comments, sexual jokes or just simply throwing sexual insults. I’ve seen it countless times. It usually happens when the woman stands her ground/doesn’t change her mind/has a strong opinion about something/is a good debater. Their goal is to shut the woman up, put her in her place as the sexual object she is, humiliate her, make her uncomfortable, scare her, reduce her to her sex, remind her that she is worthless ultimately and might as well shut up. The goal is also to disqualify her in the eyes of anybody else who might be listening to her.
But it’s also very telling how men consider sex as a weapon to humiliate and control women.
they know they deny it but they all know
you put this so eloquently, you verbalized something I’ve known but was never able to fully grasp. thank you.
I have a book for you: “We Should All Be Feminists” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche.
instead of assuring everyone that it “isn’t a phase”, why don’t we just assure everyone that if it is a phase it’s fine? it’s healthy to figure yourself out? because if we tell everyone it’s not a phase and it ends up being a phase, those people are going to feel guilty, like they stole resources or wasted time. It’s not bad to ‘go through a phase’. It’s a healthy way of finding out who you are. And if it isn’t a phase, that’s fine too. But if it is, there’s no reason to feel bad.

so my 14y/o daughter got into an argument with her high school principle yesterday for fighting. an older boy had come up to her and asked her out, but when she said no and tried to walk away he grabbed her by her arm and pulled her back. so she punched him and broke his nose. her principle then told her she should have “heard him out” and “it’s not like the boy actually hurt her” so her response was “inappropriate”. so my daughter then chewed out her male principle in the middle of the school corridor about rape culture and that if that was his attitude then he should probably quit teaching forever because all he was doing was teaching girls to be quiet victims and teaching boys that it was okay to touch girls against their will and then she pointed right in his face and said “men like YOU are why my mum taught me how to punch people properly”. she got a round of applause from 2 female teachers listening in and i have never been such a proud mama
She’s a hero

“Fidget toys make you less focused :)” that because you’re not adhd/autistic you fucking clod
list of things i have heard from people without adhd/autism who used my fidget toy:
- it doesn’t do anything
- its a waste of plastic
- how do you pay attention in class
- it makes so much noise (it doesn’t make any noise, they just saw i had it in my hand)
- at least my fidget spinner actually does stuff (my toy does 6 different things. also they got their fidget spinner taken the same day)
- its gay (creative)
things my friends with adhd/autism have said after using my fidget toy:
- oh my god
- its so…. Good
- i could actually pay attention to shit in class
- where can i buy this???
- wait there’s More stuff like this
- i love you. (not related to the toy per say but that felt nice)
This right here is an important post
As a teacher, the whole “fidget spinners being marketed as toys” is the most terrifying trend my students have introduced me to. I gave a fidget cube to one of my 6th grade students who’s been struggling all year with his adhd, who is so smart but is failing math because he can’t focus in it. He was hesitant at first, about a teacher giving him something “to help” rather than punishing him, but agreed with me that it couldn’t hurt to try.
He hasn’t put it down.
Everyday since he got it, I’ve seen him with it. He holds it in his pocket, and hasn’t climbed on a table or cussed at a teacher since.
BUT
There are at least 20 other kids in our school who bring fidget spinners and play with them out on the table during lessons. They don’t pay attention in class, and they disrupt other students’ learning. These are not students with adhd or anxiety, these are students who are just playing because they’re kids and that’s what kids do.
What scares me is I know other teachers have been confiscating them. They’re going to be banned, if it continues to be a problem. And my 6th grader, who’s had noticeable improvements since he started playing with his cube, is going to get in trouble for using something that helps him learn.

This really pisses me off, it’s something going wild in Ireland RN as a fucking toy.
IT’S NOT A TOY IT’S A CONCENTRATION AND CALMING TOOL!!!
I have anxiety and depression and I spin it when I start feeling stressed, socially exhausted or like I’m about to make myself feel like shit and it helps it really does!
Unrelated: the colour pattern is really nice it’s kinda like a lightly cloudy sky and it’s really cool
New rule, non muslims can’t say the word jihad. Until you stop conflating a word that means personal struggle with faith and temptation with terrorism youre just not allowed to say it.
I’m not a Muslim but I just thought I would reblog this because I think it’s definitely worth listening to.
It’s totally okay for non muslims to reblog this, and i encourage it. Im just glad you’re listening.
Oh god, finally someone said it. Every time I see words like “jihadist” I want to scream, but I’m not Muslim, so I wasn’t sure I should say anything.
Jihad means struggle. It doesn’t mean holy war or anything like it. In fact, there is no word in Islam for holy war, because the nature of Islam does not leave room for holy war. Islam has a juridical system, not a Pope who can just say “Go wage holy war.” Conflating the personal nature of jihad with violence is so very gross and it needs to stop. Period.
Actually, there’s another word non-muslims in the media shouldn’t use:
Allahu Akbar. It’s not a statement of terrorism. It means “god is great”. It’s something we say to praise our lord. It’s what we say when we pray. It’s not a statement of terrorism. Allahu Akbar doesn’t mean terrorism stop using it as one
