Lately I find really hard to draw, I cant find any motivations to do it, my mind just goes blank whenever i try to draw since: how could i post or do something unrelated with this tragedy? Simply i couldn't i felt bad, guilty. But i have to post something so my socials dont die, so i wanted to do something related with venezuela, this was an image that really hit me the first time i saw it so i wanted to give it a little honor drawing it, its bad, ugly but i least i feel can help to do something, KEEP TALKING ABOUT VENEZUELA

Horas después de esa publicación, Alex desapareció.

Durante casi dos semanas, su familia, amigos y miles de personas exigieron su búsqueda. Finalmente, la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Guerrero confirmó que Alex fue localizado sin vida. La Fiscalía mantiene abierta la investigación y hasta ahora no ha informado oficialmente quiénes son los responsables ni el móvil del crimen.

Alex Serna no solo era un periodista y creador de contenido. Era una voz incómoda para quienes destruyen el territorio, saquean el agua y creen que el poder puede imponerse sobre el derecho de las comunidades a vivir en un ambiente sano.

And was like, uh, are you missing something there, buddy? Like all that red in northern Africa? Because that's a lot of red.

And I was going to give them the benefit of doubt, since I don't know much about the climate in Northern Africa, aside from Morroco and Egypt, which seem like really hot places, so you know, maybe it's normal there?

Last night, two earthquakes hit the city of Caracas in Venezuela. So far, reports show a death toll of 164 people, with nearly a thousand injured. Multiple hospitals and health centers have begun taking in patients and continue to expand their capacity to serve everyone in the area, and Interim President Delcy Rodríguez has declared a State of Emergency.

If you are able, please consider donating to the Venezuela Humanitarian Fund. They dispense donations out to local organizations on the ground in Venezuela, and you can donate as little as 2 dollars. If you know of any local organizations who are able to take donations online, please share them.

I am lucky in that my friends and their families from and in Venezuela are okay, and my heart is with everyone affected by this disaster.

The death toll has risen to 589 dead and over 3,000 injured with hundreds of people still missing.

There are, of course, tons of local organizations and efforts ongoing. These often involving donating through Zelle or other mobile pay apps and I know that many people are less likely to donate if there are ‘extra steps.’
