The roof of Tim’s car is definitely not stable enough to support the two vigilantes, but it holds them up all the same. The sky is dark and cloudy; such was Gotham.

Kon had already said too much, and he’s vaguely aware of the grave he’s dug for himself, but he can’t stop from continuing on.

Tim already knows. Kon has already said it. His life was already basically over, anyways. What more could it hurt?

“Not that it matters, much. You’ve been in love with Bernard for months now, haven’t you? Even if I’d said something sooner, it’s not like it would have mattered.”

He says it with a bite that he can’t quite disguise. It has been far too long. Something within him begs to know the answer.

Tim is quiet. He doesn’t respond. Kon thinks he might throw up. He can’t stop the words from continuing to pour out.

“Nothing could have gotten you to give up that spell of love.”

“I would have, maybe, once. For you, I would have.”

“I loved you, Tim. I still do.”

“I know.”

Kon is absolutely still. Neither of them say another word. The admission hangs in the air between them. Neither speak of it.

Something within Kon knows they never will again.

New Tim Drake headcanon:

He’s always been invested in video games — especially story games. He loves dissecting them and solving the mysteries; something about his detective instinct. He just has so many theories, and the people need to know about them, right?

So he starts a YouTube channel. He goes through hundreds of games, sharing his ideas, and starts to gain a following after a little bit because people realize holy shit this actually makes WAY more sense, damn it is this guy a genius?

He goes through and analyzes everything and spends hours on his videos. Most of his non-Robin-related free time is spent on his channel. He doesn’t show his face in his videos, hide his name, and his voice is unplaceable enough that he just leaves it as is.

No one finds it, and he doesn’t really think to bring it up, because to him it’s just some side hobby. Until one day, of course, Bruce, who is just doing routine checks on the batkids’ internet activities, happens to come across this channel. His immediate reaction is to make sure Tim hasn’t given anything away, which of course he hasn’t, so he doesn’t think to bring it up until Bruce mentions a new video he posted at dinner one day.

Dick freaks out. “Holy shit, that’s you??? I used to LOVE those videos.“ Steph laughs at him and is like, “seriously?? You guys didn’t know?” Damian groans about how “Jon loves that channel,” and he just KNEW he had a reason to dislike it. Duke was actively watching one of the videos and is now desperately trying to hide his phone. Cass doesn’t know what YouTube is. Jason could not give less of a fuck. Everyone is screaming.

Basically, I’m saying MatPat is just another Tim Drake alter ego.
