whatever i was gonna say can't possibly be funnier than the mere existence of this draft
"eeerm can transmascs under this posts shut up... this one is for the girlies..." i forgot that my entire life of suffering as a woman got erased actually the moment i put he him in my bio sorry
I wasn't a child, I was more a doll. I was child as much as 9 to 5 is your entire life. I was a doll, a tool and object and now I'm an adult and yeah.
The whole, "K*lling urself is a permanent solution to a temporary problem" bullshit is spouted by the ignorant lucky ones who have only had temporary problems. Some people's problems are permanent so maybe try offering actual help and support to them rather than regurgitating an overused phrase that means nothing to people with real struggles.
Friendly reminder that your mental illness acceptance is not true acceptance if it ends when someone has
- Narcissistic personality disorder
- Factitious disorder
- Body integrity identity disorder
-Substance abuse disorder
-Antisocial personality disorder
-Schizospec disorders
You can’t pick and choose which mentally ill people are worthy of your acceptance and support. That’s just ableist.
btw guys managing your symptoms also means apologizing for things you didn't mean to do. sometimes you do things because of your disorders that you genuinely didn't mean to do, but if it hurt someone you still have to take accountability and make up for the hurt you caused
T isn't inherently scary in the same way E isn't inherently scary. It's about how people describe it. If people mostly said taking E "makes your chest and legs fat and your skin and hair greasy" nobody, especially not young trans girls whose only community is the internet, would want to take E. But it doesn't. It gives you breasts, it feminises your build and it gives you softer skin and silkier hair. It's a wonderful thing, how taking a shot once a week can make you so happy and beautiful.
When everyone describes taking T as if you were injecting black tar heroin directly into your liver, it makes people feel ashamed for wanting it. It ostracises those very same misinformed trans kids with no community other than the internet instead of what it does; it makes you stronger, it makes you more withstanding to rough-and-tumble, it sharpens your jaw so you can make silly fun of your friends in the mirror, gives you a stubble to poke your loved ones with it when you kiss, rougher hair so you and your friends can give each-other noogies. It makes you look like a Man. Of course young trans boys with no community other than the internet are terrified of T when everyone (including their own trans siblings) talks about T in horrifying ways.
I think trans HRT is beautiful whether you take it to look like Jessica Rabbit or The Rock. Or like asexual drake (shout out nb folks also shout out to the people who get the reference). Or just like your true self, even if your true self is just you with a little more gender-affirming build. I think that's awesome.
Uhhhhhhhh that seems bad
The autism study is planning to link confidential data "with broad coverage in the U.S. population" in one place for the first time.
