Congress Just Gave Trump Awful News About His Next Golf Trip

Trump will now think twice before pilfering taxpayers for another round.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) has formally introduced a bill into Congress that would require Trump to reimburse the government for funds spent on travel to his own properties, such as Mar-a-Lago in Florida and the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ.

Lieu’s bill, the Stop Waste and Misuse by the President (SWAMP) Act, states that Trump’s travel “results in the American taxpayer effectively subsidizing the president’s businesses.” The bill would also require that Trump reimburse the government for Secret Service costs derived from visits to his properties.

Pre-reboot we actually had clearly defined ages (pretty sure, anyway). By the end of post-Crisis continuity (so, circa 2011):

Bruce: early 40s

Barbara: early 30s (like…31? 32? It was somewhere in there)

Dick: late 20s (26-28)

Jason: 19/20

Cass: 19/20 (Jason and Cass are basically the same age; it was mentioned once when Bruce took Cass to Jason’s grave)

Steph: 18 (as of her Batgirl run, slightly older than Tim)

Tim: 17 (as of his Red Robin run)

Damian: 10-11

Note: Helena Bertinelli is somewhere in the same age bracket as Dick, but I don’t remember exactly how old she is.

Post-Flashpoint/New 52, ages were all over the place for awhile, but what their ages sort of eventually shook out as was this:

Bruce: Late 30s

Dick: 21-23 (fluctuates depending on the writer; I think he’s currently retconned to be 21 even though it makes no sense)

Barbara: 18-21 (again, depending on the writer)

Jason: 18/19

Cass: …..idk, I don’t know if we ever got an age guestimate for Reboot!Cass, but I’d put her in the 18/19 range

Steph: 17/18

Tim: 16-18 (I think he’s 18 right now? Idk, I haven’t read ‘Tec for awhile)

Damian: is officially 13 as of Rebirth
