So I need to get this out of my heart.
Im from Puerto Rico. From this past week there was a leak called the “telegramgate” or the “rickyrenuncia” where there was proof of the goverment huge corruption. This is one of the most horrible scandals for Puerto Rico history. And I shit you not with this.
The the governor Ricardo Rossello, had a Telegram group with his squad, who where all goverment workers. Like there was the State secretary, etc... this chat was used to give orders to persecute political oppositors (like the spouse of an representative member of the independence movement, who they want to fire for her job because she has a good salary and that job should be for one of their men) or to just give people “a warning” for not mess with them.
If this isn’t bad enough, this people where making misogynist, sexist, homophobic and rude comments on people. This are some examples:
1. Ricky Martin: “he is gay because he is misogynist and there isn’t a women that he can find satisfying like men”
2. Zugey Lamela (a journalist): “i would fuck her on doggystyle until i break her ass”
3. Melissa Mark Viverito: “we need to take this whore down”
4. Jennifer Gonzalez (PR’s commissioner residence on DC): “Jennifer can suck my dick”
5. Attorney Lopez Mulero (An a Puertorrican top attorney on criminal affairs that is too a very vocal lesbian and lgbt member): “this “lady”” implying she isn’t a lady because she is lesbian.
6. Senator Evelyn Vazquez: “this whore used to dance on a bar”
7. Carmen Yulin (San Juan’s mayor) “this crazy bitch”
8. Senator Eduardo Bhatia: “he is a faggot”. “He likes dick”
9. Senator Anibal José: “la josie” the “la” is used as a pejorative comment.
There are 886 pages on PdF from the telegram conversation. They even refered to the Miss Universe event as “soft porn”.
The comments aren’t just the horrible thing here. The most disgusting comments came when they laughed about the thousands of deaths from hurricane Maria. The crisis from the hurricane, that left 4 thousands of death toll, was so big that there wasn’t enough employees on Forensic Institute. There were hundreds of bodies rotting in wagons, on the floors, etc... because there wasn’t space on the refrigerators. You could listen nd to mothers, fathers, spouses, etc crying on radio and media to plead for the bodies of their beloved ones. The pestilence from the death was so bad that even houses on the others streets surroundings the Forensic Institute where asking for help. In the other hand, the thousands of rape kits where left there, without examination or justice for all the victims of rape.
The cherry on the top of all this scandal is that we finally know that this corrupt goverment have disappeared 350 millions of dollars from unidosxPuertoRico and FEMA for helping citizens. They used the office of the First Lady (who is right now in France with her children) and with the help of the governor best buddy (Elias Sanchez who took an airplane and escaped from the island and nobody knows where he is) they robbed us the money that was going to save thousands and help to other half million to recuperate for their losses.
This is a monumental crisis. This monsters not only robbed us, they killed us. They took everything for us and then they laught about it. The media found in 2018 wagons with thousands of bottle water, food, medications, etc from others countries that was send for helping those in need. And you know what? All of it was rotten and left in an abandoned place. We are talking of the food and water that the people on Utuado and Jayuya (country cities) screamed for it. This poor people couldn’t get out of their cities and the military’s helicopters recorded their messages on the street “SOS we don’t have food or water”. That was their food. Their water. And our governor left it to rott.
At this moments the governor is at Santa Catalina, La Fortaleza. He is locked there. There are thousands of people screaming for his resignation. All of the mayors from Puerto Rico have asked him to resign. He has say over and over and over that he isn’t going to do it.
This last week there were massive federal arrest for corruption. We don’t know if there is going to be more. The mainland media has forgotten Puerto Rico, as always does. We are american. Puerto Rico is a territory and we are american. Don’t forget about us. This needs to be know in every single part of USA!
