Bruce having prepared a means to take out his JLA teammates in the events that they go rogue is all cute and fun, but I doubt he'd feel the same way if he saw proof that one of them, or even someone else like Red Hood, had prepared something similar for against him.

People give too much importance to the Joker when it comes to Jason's story. The Joker is not important. They act like he orchestrated Jason being in the warehouse, as if it wasn't Sheila taking advantage 9f Jason's trust and trying to kill two birds with one stone. His part in Jason's story ended when he killed Jason, and UTRH was about Bruce, not Joker.

For a fandom that claim to be all for found families, they're really dead set on the traditional family structure. Why does there need to be an assigned mother, father, aunt, uncle, grandpa etc in the batfam? Why can't everyone be as they are and just be a family?

i don't understand tim fans saying tim is underrated. he's in every pride issue every single year. he's almost always a major player in whatever bat books. he is STILL robin despite the fact that he should have grown out of it by now to the point he gets billed as "THE best robin" for some reason.

and outside of that? he probably the MOST animated appearances, second only to Dick. He's in the lego video games, he's in fortnite. He has not gone anywhere. There is more than enough content if you look. i can't even open fics for OTHER charas or their tags without him being center stage.

The Dickbabs/Babs fanbase are sooo Toxic and Whiny.

You’re seriously asking the entire Batfamily fandom to “defend” Babs and your ship? That’s honestly PATHETIC.

People not liking Babs/DickBabs isn’t sexism it’s just people not liking her and your less popular ship. You don’t get to label every criticism as sexism or misogynism just to gaslight and guilt trip everyone around you into fighting your battles.

If your ship is so “right,” why do you need to beg and recruit an army of defenders just to feel better about the negative posts you claim "don't matter"? This grown-adult level of butthurt over fictional characters is exactly why people side eye your ship and fandom in the first place. You guys are the most toxic unhinged side of the dc fandom.

If you think about it, the reason Dickbabs get so much hate (which is fair everyone’s entitled to their opinion) could be because in the public eye, they come across as DC’s version of MJ/Paul. I might be mistaken, but one thing is clear: they’re not seen as the Peter/MJ of DC. If they were, almost everyone would be fine with them but the fact that around more than half of the fandom is against them says a lot.

It’s funny how desperate Dickbabs worshippers are to cope with valid criticism, to the point that they’re really trying to drag everyone into a ship war with them. Instead of accepting that not everyone has to like the same thing, these bitter fans try to recruit everyone into their drama, as if any disagreement is some kind of personal attack. It honestly just proves how fragile their arguments are and how Dickbabs worshippers are some of the most insecure fans in the entire DC community.

just read duke thomas’s wiki and he’s so cool???? why is he not used more (rhetorical question the answer is racism) like. his powers and sick as hell, his backstor is great, plus there’s so much room more fanfics in his backstory??? like when he’s in and out of the foster system looking for his parents that could be a place to introduce the batfam and have him like sneak around them trying to look for his parents, or plenty of crossover material when he leaves gotham to avenge his cousin (nephew?) who was murdered for being a meta, or anything to do with the “we are robin” movement. everyone paints jason as the cool leftist vigilante (not canon at ALL he doesn’t give a shit about others) when duke is RIGHT there like come ONNNNNN

I love Tim Drake, he's a great character. But yes some of his fans are weird.

However, I cannot ever imagine not liking a character because some fans are toxic ya know? Just don't pay attention to them.

Stephanie Brown is basic and boring nothing she has ever done is worth half the hype. Yet if you don’t include her in everything it’s a war crime. Just say you only want the white blonde girl bring back the poll DC so we can vote her off. Most interesting event was when Black Mask killed her she should have stayed dead.

Reading comics online is free and easy (just get an adblocker extension on firefox), and use an app to translate if necessary. This is THE best time for reading comics because they're so easily available online

Yet this is the only fandom where no one wants to read the source material, and people make the lamest excuses for it

I get there's a lot, and some are super old/outdated, but most fans have probably consumed just as much hours of content as just reading the main comics of their fave characters
