@batleth-brigade
She’s so funny! I LOVE HER😆
I wanted to do a quick sketch with pencils and a gel pen, and I chose Voyager as a reference. Here is the result
Real question: does this actually turn off the fact that your computer is learning how you type, or does it just set it so nothing shows up when you look at the "insights"?
The emissary.
I’ve posted about it before but I just started Voyager. And gotta say? I love Janeway. She’s so cool.
My favorite brand of people are musicians who hear Rush Fucking E, which isn't technically meant to be played by a human at all, and immediately picking up their instrument and going 'bet'.
Yeah dude that's what musicians do
hey, doyle, please don’t say watson keeps his stethoscope in his hat like that’s a normal thing, i refuse to believe that’s a normal thing
Sorry to disappoint but…
THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF DISAPPOINTMENT IM SO HAPPY THAT PEOPLE SAW TOP HATS AND SAID “oh boy a new pocket :)”
I love this.
Speaking as someone who has worn top hats for extended periods doing historical reenactment yeah you can just stick shit up under there. Good place for a historical wallet which is less dense and larger than a modern one.
Is...is this why top hats were designed like that?
"The horrors persist but so do libraries, books, iced coffee, sunsets, trees, the word 'fuck', the moon and the sea."
Black & blue vs white & gold...or, in this case, blue and gold
I have this headcanon that when Worf was trying to get into the Academy he couldn’t find an officer to sponsor him because no one was willing to sponsor a Klingon’s entry into the Fleet.
And then one day he gets word that not only is an officer willing to sponsor him, but it’s one of the most highly decorated retired admirals in Star Fleet. And Worf has no clue why he sponsored him, but it gets him into the Academy. And it’s only after he’s been in there a while that he gets the opportunity to meet the Admiral. And he marched up to the old man and asks in that blunt, Worf-esque way why he of all people would sponsor a Klingon in the Academy. And in response, the Admiral slowly smiles and steps closer to him (something no one has ever been willing to do at the Academy) and tells him, quietly, that he may have been born Klingon, but he was “Made in Russia” and “Russia only makes worthwhile things.”
And with that the Admiral shuffles away, leaving a confused but pleased Klingon cadet behind him.
And that’s why Admiral Chekov is Worf’s Star Fleet hero.
Can we have this in canon, pleeeeaaSeee
“Sir! Did you hear? There’s a klingon from Russia trying to get into-
“Did you say Russia?”
and like chekov worf goes into security
could you say worf’s
chekov’s gun
Oh god, I love this.
I like the part in ST:Prodigy where Vice Admiral Janeway shows up aboard the Dauntless, the ship from that one episode of Voyager where an alien tries to get them eaten by the Borg in revenge.
She came home with the documents and mechanics of an entire fake Federation ship and just went to Utopia Planitia and told them 'lets just make our own?' And then they just reverse engineered slipstream drive and gave Admiral Janeway the first working ship.
The fastest ship in the fleet is made in the image of a death trap and the Captain who had it sprung on her rides around in it.
I fucking love the Federation, dude. Insane behaviour from my Admiral, nothing but respect.
please dont leave your fox in the hamper too long or she'll go musty. it's better to put her straight in the washing machine
she's gonna be nice and clean :)
Ok now what
okay lemme just
there we go :)
The carrier of carriers. A tribute to Terry Pratchett
The Trebond twins, long before and shortly before.
I haven’t gotten to this part of the show yet but I imagine that this is exactly what happens. (Garak’s shirt says I love trans humans you can barely read it lol)
[ID: a meme redraw, showing the cast of Star Trek Deep Space Nine. they're drawn in a simple, almost MS paint style. Bashir says, "guys... I have something I need to confess." he lowers his gaze, and finishes, "I'm genetically enhanced or engineered or whatever."
O'Brien, Garak, Jadzia, and Sisko stand looking at him with horrified expressions. a banner behind them reads "gay is okay," while O'Brien holds a trans flag, Garak holds a gay male flag and wears a tshirt that reads, "i heart trans humans," Jadzia holds a box with a trans heart on the top, and Sisko holds up a gay progress flag. END ID]
there is an episode of Voyager, a classic filler, where Janeway tells a story of her ancestor, who lived in the year 2000 (I think) and who is incidentally also played by Kate Mulgrew. in the episode the Janeway ancestor wears reading glasses, which I assume is because Kate Mulgrew wears reading glasses and it just made sense to let her wear them in these 2000 scenes. the thing is, it would have been completely normal and sensible to have Janeway the captain of Voyager wear reading glasses. yes, it would have been too sexy for television and people would have died, but it should had been done. speaking of, nahla ake wearing reading glasses is a blessing from all gods and it is extremely funny and sad at the same time how much hate the glasses got from the anti-woke assholes
