So I started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. I just finished the first book and I've been keeping track of things I've noticed or thought was foreshadowing. Here is what I've been figuring out immediately post Book 1.
They seeded earth with humans and specific ideas like literature or lederhosen
Lexis says "This Season is produced by the Mu ... The Borant Corparation" what was she gonna say first
Agatha. Why was she edited out. What is she.
What did Borant do. They're going bankrupt, and even before we get that reveal, its implied they dont get as many seasons as they used to. Is that the party's fault?
What is the party? Its described as a neo fascist political movement that has slowly gained power, but those types of political movements aren't good at a slow power gain. Something is off.
Zev was put into time out. What does that entail and why did Zev get put in time out. I assume it was because of the warning about Jack's piss. I expect to find out when I see Zev next.
Zev appealed Time Out. Had a lawyer. Implies a lot about the kua tin civilization
Rule of threes is important. Also there are 18 floors. Chai. Maybe Im just jewish and as such predisposed to thinking of 18 as an important number, but I think that'll come back. 18 is specific. Double of 9, 18 Bit systems are classic, there's something going on.
Is that Asian Gerbil causing the Black Death thing true or is it a Dungeon thing. If its a dungeon thing why make an elaborate backstory. If its true, why tell Carl. If its true in universe but not in ours, thats gotta be hint towards something about seeded worlds.
Valtay Corp. Makes Pulse Pistol and Personal shield and inter tunnel comes delivered. Agatha had them. Agatha isn't from earth. Mordecai mentions early on that the seeded things weren't just humans and junk, that people from other planets lived on earth. Zev likes Gossip Girl. Agatha isn't from earth. She wasnt meant to be a crawler. She isn't senile.
Agatha can short out the feed. This will be important later.
The Skull Empire and the Blood Sultanate(?) have been name dropped, along with floor 9 being syndicate wars. Its also mentioned syndicate wars have happened before and that Prince Gurp Gurp or whatever his name was old enough for the last one but didnt participate. We know the last time Borant hosted was around 8 seasons ago.
Valtay are the ones who own the Borant debt. Agatha is an auditor. Thats my guess for now.
Valtay are parasitic. Agatha is human. The thing piloting Agatha probably isn't.
Mongo is a Velociraptor. They keep saying Mongo will get big. Velociraptors dont get big. Is Mongo more like a Utahraptor or Deinonychus? Matt Dinniman has definitely seen Jurrasic Park. He knows how big velociraptors get. This may be a shaggydog story of a clue, but I think it'll lead somewhere.

Rory is sentient now. Damien is sentient, and important. Tiatha was Meadow Lark's Tutorial Guide, and Mordecai is Carl and Donut's. But the other name drops of Glennis and Helix are new. My guess is that the mobs are the people who died on Earth or other planets. Or maybe theyre dead crawlers. But only the floor mobs. Not nice. Also I hope Rory comes back. I like her.
Damien is going to kill all these goblins. I will be sad. This another point in my floor mobs are dead people theory. Can't let them regain sentience.
Rory talked to Mordecai. Mordecai talking to mobs will he important later.
They lived. This isn't a note or anything I just like Rory so I'm happy. Wallace is cool too.
