Jimmy and Lin-Manuel Miranda perform a song about every musical they canât wait to see when Broadway returns this September with the help of a few special guests.

This is literally the most heart warming story I have read on Twitter so far. I think this is exactly what friends should do, and I feel everyone deserves people like this.
A barn rasing:Â a collective action of a community, in which a barn for one of the members is built or rebuilt collectively by members of the community.
because you cannot, you CANNOT, build a barn on your own, and without it, you will not be able to survive.Â
What a fuckinâ gem of a sentence. âWhat we did today was a barn rasinâÂ
get you a man who can do both
one of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so fucking hard she snapped it. that is the fucking funniest shit ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel
Y'all, it gets better. She found out.

[comment by Reddit user Sam474:
I think people arenât giving the internet enough credit.
You grow up being told how great capitalism is and then you get online and find out that people in other countries have the same standard of living we do but without the constant fear of bankruptcy.
You grow up thinking âgoing to the doctor is expensive, donât get sick and if you do donât go until youâre sure you HAVE toâ and then you find out most of the developed world can go to the doctor for free, or at least for a very affordable rate.
You grow up thinking âWork hard and be successful and you can retire at 65 and travel a little.â and then you get online and find out pretty much all of Europe gets weeks and weeks of vacation time a year and is doing their travelling in their 20s and 30s and loving it.
The list goes on and on. I grew up in the conservative south and it wasnât an uncommon conversation starter when I was a kid for people to open up with things like âWhat church do you go to?â and so thatâs what I thought the world was. Church and working for the weekend and be careful to save your pennies and not splurge and donât get sick. It wasnât until the internet appeared that I realized how differently a lot of people live and how much more appealing a lot of that sounded.
When you hear that someone else had a kid and it didnât cost them any money, got a year off to raise it, gets free daycare, and goes to spain twice a year for vacation itâs pretty hard to still feel content with your 60 hour work week, 2 weeks off a year that youâre discouraged from actually using, and health insurance as your second biggest monthly bill.]
And from a European perspective, you grow up hearing everybody talking about how great the US is (because we get a lot of American TV and films, and America as a nation never seems to neglect an opportunity to blow its own trumpet) and people talking about how we should be more like them, and then you hear stuff like thisâŠ
I live in Belgium.
On September first I'm unemployed again, if I don't find a job.
I'm not worried. My healthcare for the year is paid. I'll get unemployment benefit for the (hopefully short) time I'm between jobs. So I'll be able to pay my mortgage and other bills. I have a college degree, savings, I've paid all my hospital bills without issues. I can afford my ADHD meds without any issues.
I see all these deprecating posts joking about millennials never bring homeowners. But half my friend are homeowners. I'm 29. I bought my apartment when I was 27.
Politicians and big businesses have been bleeding you dry and they got you thinking that everyone is living like this. But we're not. America isn't the norm. It's the exception.
Pros of having ADHD:
Can track prey for hours without losing focus
Special interest: basket weaving
Always fidgeting - banging rocks together and discovers flint-knabbing
Distracted by berries
Stimming by making noises, discovers the sksksk that lures out squirrels
Can't sleep at night, great at guarding the cave while family sleeps
Sensitive senses means discovering and refusing to eat rotten/poisonous food
Sees bird eat nut - impulsively tries it too and discovers that nuts taste good
Cons of having ADHD:
Can't do homework
Impulse buys
Can't use a calendar
Can't sit still in classroom
born in the wrong generation
Well fuck
I need a minimum of 2 hours at the start of every day to just vibe before I actually begin my day lol
These are the solutions we need to policing right now. Remember: the problem cannot be solved by technocratic solutions (i.e. body cams, further trainings, etc.) The problem is policing itself.
Things that are telling
1. Dany legitimized Gendry as a power play looking for the loyalty of a great house. Tyrion pointed out that she was buying Gendryâs loyalty.
2. Cut to the point here; Gendryâs in love with Arya. He told her the lordship wouldnât mean anything without her. His loyalty canât be bought.
3. Arya refused simply because she doesnât want to be a lady or deny him happiness not totally realizing that he just told her sheâs his happiness.
4. He doesnât have a single clue how to be a lord.
5. They cut away from the reveal scene between the Starks very oddly. More was said that we donât know. Plans have been made.
6. The Hound, Aryaâs surrogate father, knows Gendry is in love with her and theyâre once again going on a gd road trip. Conveniently to the same place Gendry is going.
This isnât over.
If Daenerys is going mad let the record show sheâs going mad because sheâs losing everything that she loves and not because sheâs an evil tyrant.
Watching everyone and everything you love die is bound to make anyone snap. Daenerys is damn near at her breaking point if sheâs not there already and itâs sad to watch.
The ideas of love, sex, and marriage were fairly complicated in Winterfell this week. Gendry Baratheon, finally a legitimized lord, proposed to Arya Stark and our girl turned him down with some very familiar words: âthatâs not me.âÂ
We heard these words again in Season 7 when Arya encountered her direwolf Nymeria. After the Stark family pet rejects her offer to return home to the warmth and comfort of Winterfell, Arya realizes she has grown and is on her own now, just like her.
The direwolves are supposed to be extensions of their owners, so the notion of Nymeria wanting to run as wild as Arya should come as no surprise.
Sheâs still got that murder list, remember, and thereâs at least one name on it: Cersei Lannister. Gendry has been obsessed with Aryaâs stature as a ârich girlâ so it makes sense he would try to offer her something he thinks a rich girl would want. But the offer just proves he doesnât quite understand who the Stark girl has become. Not yet. (x)
