For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. I have never been more fucking excited in my life than I was watching the god of war laufey gameplay showcase, holy fucking shit it's perfect. her ending up in the AFTERLIFE OF THE GODS allowing a wide swathe of mythologies to be pulled from to expand the GoW universe to both show off various cultures as well as possibel hitns to other future titles is fucking amazing. not even mentioning it's ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that the sword they have faye use is the sword in the stone from arthurian legend. like with how they were talking about it its definitely something powerful, and the imagery of her pulling it out looked INCREDIBLY "sword in the stone" esque. god im so fucking excited dude holy SHIT
