Explaining homestuck isn't hard and doesn't take ten thousand paragraphs to do y'all just don't know how to summarize things.
Homestuck is a webcomic where there is a multiplayer video game called Sburb which is a standard component of reality itself. Sburb, when played, destroys your original universe and transports you to a liminal place called a Land where the goal is to create a new universe and reality. Because all the realities are made by previous players of the video game, there's a large cast that follows multiple timelines/realities. Because all of this is also a video game, there are some bugs/hacks/glitches. Much of the later plot of Homestuck revolves around trying to glitch reality in a way to kill an unkillable glitched final boss to save and fix the timelines/realities which were all glitched to being unplayable/unwinnable because of it. There are a variety of mediums in which the story is told and the guy from Undertale did a lot of the music for it.
I’m a pacifist like institutionally but I’m absolutely certain that violence solves at least some problems on a much smaller level. I don’t believe in wars or nuclear weapons or military campaigns I do believe in the power of that guy who punched the nazi in the face so hard his entire media presence immediately crumbled to dust

This isn't an urgent situation, but if you can, I could use some help.
My cat Chopi's medications cost 120 USD a month. Both of my cats are on prescription food, at about 25-50 USD a month each.
Next month, they need their vaccine renewal and Chopi has an IBD follow up - I except 200-300 USD total.
I work as a petsitter and lately, I make between 0 USD to 50 USD a month, which means that I always spend more than I make and it's not easy.
I am not in an unsafe situation - I have a roof over my head, food, etc.

What Native people say about the use of sage: you can use sage, but you cannot smudge as nothing you are doing (waving sage around) is actually smudging. 1) Yes! You can buy sage! You really, truly can! Buy it from either native sellers (go to a powwow! Eat our food, buy our stuff, watch some dancing!) Or buy it from a seller who sources the sage from native people. Pick one. And no, buying it from 5 Below doesn’t count.
2) you CANNOT smudge. This isn’t just you “shouldn’t”— this is a YOU ARE INCAPABLE OF SMUDGING. Waving a sage stick around your doorways IS NOT SMUDGING. It is smoke clensing. Smudging, depending on the tradition and tribe, could easily have dancing and drums involved. You, as a white person, do not have the cultural BACKGROUND to even know how it works. At all. Period.
3) please, for FUCKS SAKE, stop making posts here on tumblr where you tell other white people about cultural appropriation and what they can and cannot do. Please stop, your license has been revoked because none of you bother to get the facts right. We native people are FULLY CAPABLE OF DOING IT OURSELVES. Consider instead: a) reblogging our posts where we talk about it! We’re here! We have made posts!! b) Making a post that states what we said and then LINKS BACK TO US. Screenshot with a link if you must. Stop centering your own voices in these conversations. You are already centered in everything, stop centering yourselves in a native space.
