Such a love-hate relationship with Wolverine and the xmen cartoon.

Love the designs, voice acting, story overall, favourite animated Nightcrawler portrayal, love the use of many characters, got really invested in some of the episodes. I wasn't a big Emma fan until this but I really loved her here. Absolutely adore this Kitty version too. Love that they finally didn't focus on the stupid ass Logan Scott Jean love triangle. Loved the serious tone after having watched Evolution because while I like it I'm not a big fan of the high school drama and how most of them are teenagers, so this show feels refreshing in that sense that it's more mature.

However,

Stupid ass title. Hate how they treated Storm, Forge and how much Wolverine is overhyped despite the fact I absolutely love him as a character. Rogue's obsession with him gets on my nerves. Rogue is generally weird in this and she's my favourite female xman so... Tomato tomato. Lack of Gambit is criminal. I am guilty of skipping like two episodes that were straight up boring. I rolled my eyes a few times throughout the show. Why does Pietro look older than his dad. Wolverine should be short. He's a terrible leader and it doesn't make much sense for Charles to choose him and not Storm but I know it's based off the movies which have a huge raging boner for Logan. Cyclops is annoying and boring but I think I just don't like him in any media actually scratch that. I don't like how they abandoned the Laura situation, feel like it should've bugged Logan way more.

I should mention once again I hate how they portrayed Storm because it's that serious. It pisses me off. Wish Nightcrawler had more screentime but that's actually my biased ass talking, many characters should've had more screentime but I know Wolverine & friends is in the title so didn't expect much more. Absolutely despise Pietro's costume btw. Much like the fox films it was enjoyable but it has many major problems. Unlike the fox movies, from what I've read about season 2 it would fix a lot of the issues, if it wasn't cancelled. Shame, because it has big potential imo.
