Holes (2003) dir. Andrew Davis
thinking about shane and ilya at some nhl alumni event years in the future….their relationship is old news and literally no one bats an eyelash at them anymore plus they’re staying in some penthouse suite where nobody can hear them but anyway ilya is fucking shane through the mattress and covers his mouth with one hand like “shush hollander you’re going to get us caught” and shane comes so hard he blacks out
Cliff was a year younger than him, a bit of an idiot, and probably Ilya’s best friend.
Unfortunately Hudson Williams committed several grave sins to the internet:
Masculanized an Asian character
Became a heartthrob as a POC
Gave an award-winning performance for a neurodivergent character
Is dating a woman after playing a gay man
Gets just as much praise as his white costar
Doesn't censor himself to fit in
IS AN ASIAN MAN WHO HAS PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD SO DIABOLICALLY DOWN BAD FOR HIM
Do yall think Hollanov have a pillory bed?
And if so how soon do you think they bought that shit
Shane wearing a ball gag as Ilya is pounding into him from behind. Shane's face is pressed into the sheets, his own spit dripping down his chin as he's recovering from his orgasm. He's waiting for Ilya pull out, let him suck him off or something, but Ilya just keeps poundinginto him and it's too much but not enough. Instinctively, Shane tries to move away, but Ilya just grips his hips, so hard he'll probably leave bruises. Shane shudders at the thought of that, his cock twitching beneath him. "Where do you think you're going?" "Too much." Shane tries around the ball gag, but all that comes out is a mumbled mess. "Mhm, to bad I can't hear you." Shane can basically hear the smile on Ilya's face. "Did you say harder?" He slaps Shane's ass, smoothing over it with his hand seconds later. Shane just moans, arching his ass despite of himself. "So greedy," Ilya says as he starts jerking Shane's cock (already hard and wet again). "Be a good boy now," he cums with a loud moan and Ilya's dick inside of him. He's exactly where he wants to be
ilya rozanov voice marly i know youre good at eating pussy cuz youre always going crazy style on some buffalo wings
cliff marleau voice (nearly in tears) fuck man no ones ever said anything like that to me before………
Oh, my fucking... Fuck, Rozanov.
HEATED RIVALRY — 1.01 "Rookies"
Can everyone please send me the best Hollanov longfic that you've ever read? Like if I was only gonna read one longfic for them... which one would you recommend?
I don't care about genres, rating, archive warnings, etc. I'm open to anything. So whatever you think is objectively the best longfic (or subjectively to You Personally anyway), send it to meeeee 👀
By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.
Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):
Executive functioning skills range from working memory to cognitive flexibility to inhibitory control, and beyond. They power our daily func
Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):
Practical Strategies for Enhancing Executive Functioning Difficulties in Adults With Autism - Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as
Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You do not have to be stuck forever.
Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid
i just noticed that in episode one when they're "both in tuxedos out in public", when they're kissing, the world is silent. but when shane breaks the kiss, the sounds of the city rush back in. jacob tierney i could kiss you
I was inspired by this post to write about how I think this would go...
****
It's 1:30am when Marleau calls. Ilya would have slept through it if Shane hadn't wacked him in the face with a pillow and mumbled "Dude, your phone is ringing, make it stop."
"Oh." Ilya rubs his eyes and picks up his phone. "It's Marly."
some people really do need to start reminding themselves that the answer to "why didn't the character just do [something entirely different]" is often simply "because then there wouldn't be a story"
You're a good painter, Arthur Morgan..
