not to be that girl but when I see yall reference to / draw "that half blank half apocalyptic look" on Armand he always looks uncanny and like, supposed to be scary. Which surprises me because that is not how I envisioned that line at all lmao so mayhaps I am the problem but my interpretation was always that the "half blank half apocalyptic look" was the look he had when his PTSD triggered and he's partially dissociated, partially terrified, partially desperate, partially not even in the room anymore. flashbacking etc. which would also explain why louis was like So what's it gonna be? Fight or Fawn? your two trauma responses? You gonna deal with these feelings with anger or appeasement? Or your other coping mechanism turning it into a sex thing? Is that not how you guys perceived that line too? am I tweaking?
