They both die at the end

I just finished reading this book, written by Adam Silvera and it fckin’ hurts.

At first you don’t mind the fact that they both die at the end because, big spoiler, they die. It’s the title so that’s what you expect. The last 60 pages made me cry so much, I don’t even recognize myself. You get so attached to Mateo and Rufus that it hurts when they die. I have the impression I knew them in real life, it’s like I lost a family member.

I know it’s weird to react like this and a little too much but please read this book. It is one of the best book I’ve ever read and I hope it’ll be one of yours too, whoever you are.

I’ll be brave, and I’ll be okay.

Snow kissed me last night until my mouth was sore. He kissed me so much, I was worried I’d Turn him with all my saliva. He held himself up all all fours above me and made me reach up for his mouth—and I did. I would again. I’d cross every line for him.
