If Steve and Robin are squatting at WSQK, I need an entire book of Robin and Steve coming up with the idea to take over WSQK, scoping out the station until they’re sure it’s abandoned, cleaning it up and redecorating and trying to figure out how the hell to go on air. How excited do you think Steve was when he realized the owners left the keys to the WSQK van there? How many times did one of them electrocute themselves trying to fix shit? also i'm sure someone has posited this idea somewhere but do we think it's possible vecna goaded will into awakening his powers on purpose at the end of sorcerer?

for one, vecna shows up to fuck shit up, call will weak, and then leave. there was no real purpose to him showing up himself, as the demogorgons clearly had it covered as far as just getting the kids they were after.

for two, in s4 henry coaxes el into using her powers by telling her to think of "something that makes [her] angry" which aligns with him having approached will with negative memories of the van scene and destroying castle byers (even though it was ultimately love that fueled him of course)

for three, soldiers died left and right at the massacre at the mac-z but all of will's friends were left untouched until that final moment. yes we can write this off as plot armor within the narrative, but what if vecna intentionally targeted them at once to spark will into action?

i don't think the loss of 3 demogorgons would be a big deal at all to vecna so i don't think he'd even see it as a loss. it feels like a victory to our characters, but it may have been part of his plan all along.
