Keep in mind:

- Be HOPEFUL that it finds a new home, but not EXPECTANT. You'll only hurt more of it doesn't fun a new theater.

- DON'T. HATE. ON. THE. MUSIC. MAN. Just don't. It makes you AND the fandom look childish and immature.

- National tour. It'll be big, because this show really WAS a success, in the long run.

- International productions!!

- Remember HIGH SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY THEATERS WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT.

This may be the end of the Broadway run, but NOT the end of Beetlejuice.

Just to clarify....

As of right now, Beetlejuice the Musical is NOT closing.

The official announcement is that it is leaving the Winter Garden theater. Every source that has said the word “closing” has been unaffiliated news/gossip sites. But every official account is using the word “moving”.

The real story is that because of BtM’s less than stellar box office revenue shortly after it opened, The Music Man was decided to have its run in the theater for next year - despite Beetlejuice now having literal record-breaking numbers at the box office currently.

HOWEVER. Multiple first-hand sources from the Beetlejuice cast and production team have confirmed that currently they do not plan on closing, but rather moving the show to another theater. Though one hasn’t been locked down yet they still have plenty of time and the team is hard at work. And based on the way they’ve been talking, they do NOT plan on letting their show, OUR show, die anytime soon.

Not only that, but the support surrounding the show since the announcement of the move has been overwhelming!!! #savebeetlejuice was trending on twitter last night and continues to go strong!! Big names both inside and outside of the theater community are speaking out about it and showing their support for Beetlejuice to stay

All of this still gives me hope. They haven’t given up yet so it’s not time for us to either.

Bottom line, for now we are still okay!!! 💚💚💚

the best case would be for them to find a theater which they can move their set to without losing too many expenses. the best things we can do for that is to go see and support the show if we can!!!! let’s get sold-out shows until the very last one!!!!! also get the merch if you can, every little bit helps!!!!!! if you have twitter, make sure you keep bumping those #savebeetlejuice and #imwithbeetlejuice tags so they stay trending, and make as much noise as we can!!!!!! we are a giant online community, Netherlings, let’s use it!!!!!!!!! if we can get these tags trending here on tumblr as well, that’d be awesome!!!!!! the cast and team have been adamant that they are moving, not closing, and that they aren’t gonna give up without a fight, so let’s do this!!!!! maybe it’s a show about death, but let’s keep it alive!!!!!!!!
