trash pickup at my mom's house has always been wednesday morning so when i still lived there we had to get all the trash out on tuesday night & once in like 2011 my mom heard us say "it's tuesday you fat nasty trash" so to this day when i'm visiting and we have to get the trash out my mom still calls it "fat nasty trash night." this woman has been quoting sweet bro and hella jeff for 13 years.

#i've been thinking about this a lot lately #about how the body is the soul and the soul is the energy within it #the soul is what powers the body #i've been thinking about the scope of everything #about how far we've separated ourselves from nature #every time i look at the sun and the moon and the stars i think about how they're actually out there and not just some projection in the sky #i think about how we used to be a star #how we all came from the same star and how it connects us #i think about all of these made up systems that the rich and powerful claim can't be changed or altered #they always say “that's just the way it works”#but it's not. we made it up #did the trex have to go into lifelong debt for a meal?#does jupiter worry about making next months rent?#people may say i'm privileged for being able to think about the world like this #and maybe i am #but i know this viewpoint came from a place of great suffering and grief #i never thought about any of this until someone very dear to me died back in october #now all o think about is how little everything matters because everyone is going to die so why to we waste our time with all of this?#anyways take care of your body and look at the stars instead of down at the dirt #the sun loved us enough to give us a chance #we don't need to have a purpose #we can just be as we are
