DIAGNOSIS UPDATE!!!!

I'M AUTISTIC!!!!

I just got my results, I'm actually autistic :') tysm to everyone that helped me and made me feel understood, i feel so relieved

I'm questioning if I'm autistic (since diagnosis is expensive so i want to be more sure before pursuing anything) and one of the biggest things that takes me back is the fact that i was very extroverted as a kid, i talked to everyone and had no shame for anything, so it makes me feel like some of the autistic traits i might have are just a "teenager thing" since I wasn't shy or anxious as a kid :/ but i also think it might just be that i had a lack of social cues so i didn't mind not fitting in ( because I didn't )

i forgot to update on how my first autism session went so I'll just do it rn!!

The first session was good, i felt really anxious but the psychologist was super nice, she didn't really tell me anything but i got to talk about my childhood, why i think i might be autistic, etc.

second session was related to the sensory experience, she told me that she couldn't say if i was autistic because she doesnt know (different professionals) but told me that i definitely have sensory issues and that i should also take an ADHD test since she saw a lot of traits. Recommended a nutritionist (specifically one that works on the sensory integration area) and an occupational therapist for working with being more organized!!

3rd session was w a psychologist, went well but i mostly talked about my childhood and emotional things i guess idk

fourth sesion was with a speech therapist, she did a questionnaire and also asked about my interests, development and all
