The question isn't if it's their right legally, but whether it should be. I think logically, looking at literally all issues regarding affordability and accessibility in the pharmaceutical industry, intellectual property in healthcare is actively harmful. Also, OP's post is about ingredients, not the vaccines themselves. The US is not the only country that's created a vaccine in the first place. Not sure what point you're trying to make here...
