It really pisses me off how entitled some ccs (Legundo) are when it comes to art their fans create (this is about Legundo). For example, he says when people draw this scene* rather than if–or even, I don't know, commissioning one of the many talented artists in your community to do so? You can tell he doesn't truly understand how much time and effort goes into drawing/animating something like that. And they're doing it for free!!! Assuming your audience of mostly children/teens/young adults will consistently take the time out of their day to make something for you really rubs me the wrong way.

To be clear, I'm not trying to say all fanart should be paid for or anything like that, it's only when a cc starts expecting it to happen that it becomes a problem (at least imo).

And don't even get me started on Minecraft skins!! I haven't kept up with mcc in a bit so maybe this has changed, but last I saw ccs typically wait for skin artists to make team skins and then just choose from those. Once again, Minecraft skins take time to make and require a lot of creativity! I hate whenever it's not recognized as a "real" form of art.

This is something I've already had a lot of thoughts about, but the recent Pyro situation made me want to actually bring it up. It almost seems like separation of cc and character only exists when it's convenient for them. When their character does something considered to be morally wrong it's "remember chat I'm playing a character," but as soon as you try to ship their character with another (i.e., interpreting joke flirting as a real queer relationship), it's suddenly "too difficult to not see my character as anything but an extension of myself."
