With everyone looking to stock up on Plan B and hormones I’d like to remind folks not to buy medication from Amazon. It’s cheaper because it’s fake.

If you are lucky, your fake Plan B will be faked for profit reasons, and will be made of something inert like sugar or chalk. If you are unlucky, your fake plan B will be made by someone clever who will try to make you cramp or nauseous to avoid suspicion.

If you are very unlucky, your fake Plan B will be from a pro-lifer with a point to prove.

That blister pack could contain anything and Amazon, the only entity with the capacity to check, does not.

Amazon’s incredibly efficient warehousing system relies on the idea that every item with the same barcode is interchangeable.

If Amazon has a product- lets call it 3M N95 masks, to cite a well documented ongoing example- and a new 3rd party seller wants to sell that product? The 3rd party, who could be anyone, is able to “warehouse with amazon” in order to join in on Amazon’s fast shipping programs. This increases sales.

The 3rd party takes their counterfeit packaged masks and ships them to an Amazon warehouse. Amazon scans the barcode, verifies it is the “same thing,” and dumps the masks into a bin containing the masks from 3M as well as any other 3rd parties.

Someone buys a package of masks. By chance, it is a real 3M package. They leave a positive review. Someone else reads the review, feels reassured, and buys a package of masks themselves. By chance, they receive a counterfeit. They get sick because their mask is a ripoff, but they have no way of knowing that counterfeiting is the reason. They do not leave a negative review.

What if they do leave a negative review? What if it’s not masks. What if it’s dried aloe powder sold as a supplement and what shows up is a bag of sugar cut with an unknown substance? Well when that happened to me, I reported it to Amazon did nothing. They didn’t shut down the listing because the listing is legitimate. They didn’t shut down the seller because who’s to say which seller actually shipped in the fake bag? They don’t go through the product and get rid of fakes because they’d have to open, ruin, and test every bag. So Amazon just continues to sell an unknown amount of unknown substance to people who intend to eat it.

Do not buy medication from Amazon.

Seeing Sum 41 tonight. 100% going to cry, partly because it's my first time seeing them and it's their final tour. But mostly because I remember when I first bought their CDs All killer no filler and Does this look infected. The guy in the cd store asked if they were for my brother and my mum proudly saying no it's for me. And her putting on Does this look infected as soon as we got home. It was such a stupid little thing but it's been with me forever. And now she's losing her memory, and I feel like I'm losing her.

Watching any lorna shore playthrough with will ramos is like HOW is he making those noises so calmly? How is he not going absolutely FERAL? he looks like he's just singing normal.
