I find it so odd how many people have the most obvious DNI lists like “DNI IF YOUR A MURDERER” because like dude a murder ain’t gonna tell you their a murdered?2??2 or shit like “DNI IF YOUR EVIL” (taking some creative liberties with this example but hold with me here) cuz brother do you really think most people who are evil would look at themselves and think “oh I just remembered I am EVIL guess I should respect this persons boundaries and not interact with them 😿” or like the people that have “DNI MINORS” in their bio like brother be so for real right now do you GENUINELY think ever person that talks to you is gonna check your bio before talking to you 2?2? And I’ve had like people with that in their bios interact with ME like could you be anymore of an idiot hypocrite ?2?2?2 anyways I think DNI lists are typically useless and chronically online shit that does nothing cuz most of them are common sense rules of tumblr (and real life) 1- don’t be a pedofile 2- don’t be a trump supporter 3- don’t be a fucking loser etc. so why does any of this NEED to be said unless it’s something specific like “dni tcc or dni people that ship ____” cuz that I understand but most of yall have the most stupid useless dni lists sometimes it just feels like people trying to make their bios longer so they don’t feel boring ;-; !1!1!1!

Question about my sexuality if yall want to help. Should I introduce myself as panromantic or asexual when people ask? Cus in one hand panromantic is more accurate but people don’t really know how that’s different from pansexual, meaning I’d have to explain that and I just really don’t want to. But on the other hand people understand asexual more but also saying that alone may cause confusion so I may still end up having to explain things. So what do you guys think is better?

It kind of fucks with me that somebody killed ötzi the iceman because ötzi himself is like whatever but the silent presence of human hands that drew back the string of the bow that shot the arrow that killed him is crazy. the idea that there were various people involved in that situation and while one of them has had his last hours painstakingly reconstructed and studied to no end, the others now only exist insofar that an arrowhead had to get into his shoulder somehow. imagine killing someone and then suddenly your entire existence is only a vague shadow implied by the fact that you killed them. much to consider

Everyone in the comments of this post are scrambling to either defend ötzi or justify his death. To one way or another add meaning despite knowing that there is none anymore. The significance of his death had decayed away like the flesh on his bones for all but the few who make it their mission to have him be relevant to them, and I can all but guarantee anyone who sees this post will forget about him a few moments later. Me included. And yet people still scurrying across their keyboards trying to find something that we cannot see. Something that may never even be there… Why? Do we have to? Do we enjoy it? It’s almost as poetic as the post itself.
