I know everyone is talking about Caleb as a seasonal counselor at Veth’s summer camp, teaching magic to kids who want to be adventurers but can we also talk about Beau and Yasha as camp counselors as well

Beau teaching kids basic self defense but also the importance of research and she helps curate a small library collection for the campers. The nerdy/shy kids love her and always come to her for research questions or book recommendations. She also leads morning beach walks and meditations for the kids who want to get up extra early. She always has bacon from the cafeteria in her pockets and randomly offers kids pocket bacon

Yasha teaches the kids about weapons and referees any sparring matches to make sure they don’t get out of hand, plus she’s got some healing in case of emergencies. She also leads nightly campfires with rousing harp music. Yasha’s always able to find a soft spot in even the toughest of tough kids by just giving them flowers for a job well done or complimenting their form but also she takes no shit and on the rare occasion there’s a bully she can’t get through to, she gets scary and intimidating.

They insist on adopting a camp mascot that’s literally just like a puppy that they found on the side of the road one day but the puppy ends up growing into a huge wolf and it loves them/the camp kids anyway

Also because Yasha is so strong there is definitely a game that happens every so often where they see how many small children Yasha can physically carry at once. Hint: it’s a lot

Hi!  Want to completely fuck the keyboard-tracking system in the ass?  Want to do it in a way that they literally cannot do anything about without disabling primary Windows functions?

Step 1: Open Notepad.

Step 2: Copy the following text, line for line, omitting only the --- that caps either end of it. --- Dim objResult Set objShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell") Do While True   objResult = objShell.sendkeys("{NUMLOCK}{NUMLOCK}")   Wscript.Sleep (6000) Loop --- Step 3: Save this as whatever.vbs, put it somewhere you can access easily, and double click it when you start your computer.

What does this do?

This runs a very basic script, and every six seconds, your computer will double-tap the NumLock key (i.e., turn it on, and then off) in a single instant.  This counts as a key-press, occurs with a key that shouldn’t affect most things that you’re doing, occurs with no gap between them even if it could affect things you’re doing, and should prevent this kind of BS from engaging.  As an aside, this will also prevent your computer from automatically locking itself, so take that into account if you need to manually lock your computer when going to lunch or whatever.

Uh, much easier way to trick the "idle" checks on most corporate tracking software:

1. Open notepad.

2. Put your phone down on the spacebar.

I've worked jobs where if you are "idle" for a certain percentage of the day, you can get in trouble -- but then you end up in three hours of meetings where you never touch your keyboard or mouse. Like I'm not talking about dicking around or goofing off. I'm talking about literally trying to do the job I was hired for.

This is how I survived that.
