SAKUSA KIYOOMI isn't very fond of beaches. It isn't exactly his go to spot. The sand gets messy, it gets everywhere and doesn't leave his house for days, he doesn't appreciate the scorching rays of the sun falling directly on his figure, there are many dangers surrounding beaches — ranging from poisonous jelly fishes to crabs — moreover, the sand is literred with trash all over! From empty soda cans to food packets, it's a ruckus. So yes, his hate for beaches is absolutely justified.

However, seeing you in that swimsuit, looking confident in your body, with the sun rays kissing your skin in a way that looks magical, with the wet locks of your hair and your lips stretching to either corners of your mouth in a smile with the reveal of your teeth. Seeing you in the sand, with your hands all muddy, building a sand castle or collecting shells as a souvenir to remember, with your giggles filling the room, that, that makes Kiyoomi visit the beach with you everytime you want to go. He might dislike the beach, but his love for you overshadows his dislike for beaches. He's willing to stand in the scorching heat if it meant having that big smile on your face.

Stephanie squints at him—she doesn't recognize his costume, all blacks and reds. "Batman," the new guy says, "Is the answer to that really going to mean anything to you?" He looks at her. "What date, Stephanie?" "He took me to the top of Wayne Tower? And then we went to a sci-fi movie marathon? Why? What's happening?" The new guy lets out a breath. He sits down heavily. "That was five years ago, Steph."

Cass hums. "Before…I didn't understand words. I could still—understand." "What, like you could read minds?" Cass shakes her head. "Not minds," she says, smiling. She presses a finger into Stephanie's forehead, rocking her back slightly. "Bodies." Steph grins. "So," she says, "What, like…if I wasn't actually saying anything right now, you'd be able to understand what I'm saying?" Cass shrugs. "Kind of. It's more…feeling." "Okay," Stephanie says. She leans forward, her grin widens. "What am I feeling?"

"Stephanie," Barbara interrupts, "Stop." "Stephanie?" Damian says, gawking. "Stephanie," Dick says, voice still strangled. "Jesus fucking Christ," Stephanie says. "Respect the goddamn secret identity, why don't you? I'm in costume, unless you're blind, in which case I'll be so super duper nice and tell you—the name's Robin."
