Taco salad for dinner!🌮
Turkey sandwich with mustard and baby spinach! Fruit on the side! I'm so weird...I love the ends of the bread.
Overnight oats for breakfast today! - 2/3 cup old fashioned oats - 2/3 cup almond milk - Greek yogurt - 1 tbsp chia seeds - 1 tbsp powder PB Strawberries on top!
Green beans, BBQ chicken and basmati rice for dinner tonight! Im thinking of starting Weight Watchers on February 27!! I'm excited!! Never tried it before but I need something to motivate me! Any thoughts, suggestions, or pieces of advice? Do you recommend WW?
Dinner tonight was baked chicken parm over fiber pasta and brussel sprouts! So delicious!
I've been MIA for months but trying lots of new (healthy and unhealthy recipes!) Tonight was chicken caprese from Pinterest! - baked chicken (sea salt, pepper and EVOO) - fresh mozzarella - avocado - tomato - balsamic glaze (didn't have time to let it thicken so it was too thin) On the side was roasted zucchini and a piece of rosemary focaccia bread! Pretty tasty! I definitely would try this again with a thicker glaze.
Hearty bowl of crockpot sweet potato turkey chili over basmati rice before an hour of body combat! Overall I did pretty well today! I forgot to weigh myself though. 😔
It's time.
Now that I feel like we're somewhat into a routine with the little man, it's time for me to get my butt in gear and lose this baby weight! Tomorrow morning I will weigh myself and see where my starting point is. I know I have a lot to lose because my clothes are so tight and I hate the way I look. Time for some real changes! Goals: - no more than 1,400 calories/day this week (Monday-Friday) - gym 2-3x - lots and lots of water Saturday I have plans that require eating and drinking so my goal is to take it easy and not overdo it! Sunday I hope to be back on track but will be eating out possibly for lunch. Hopefully I can make a good choice!

I remembered to take pictures! Yesterday was a smoothie bowl for breakfast, turkey and laughing cow cheese sandwich for lunch and chicken sausage and peppers for dinner with rosemary artesian bread. I also had too much ice cream and a couple more slices of bread with my dinner. I really gotta cut back overall, but when I'm exhausted from not sleeping it's hard!! Little man will be a month a week from today so let's hope we're moving in the right direction for sleep!
Still on my smoothie bowl kick even as a momma! So quick and easy! I top it with old fashioned raw oats now to help my milk supply and actually really enjoy it!! - 1 frozen banana - 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries - 1 cup almond milk - Greek yogurt Blend and mix and one tbsp chia seeds! So good, so quick and oh so healthy!!
Little man arrived on August 17, sharing a birthday with my father! Life has been filled with love and getting used to this little guy so sorry for the lack of activity on my part. I will be back at some point just can't say when!
One of the best salads ever from Iron Hill Brewery. Salmon served over arugula, peppers, feta, mushrooms, onion, cherry tomatoes, matchstick potatoes and vinaigrette. Mmmm
40 weeks pregnant so a smoothie bowl topped with fiber cereal and Honey Nut Cheerios to celebrate! Been MIA with visitors and a busy schedule this weekend. Dinner plans with my girlfriends tonight! I plan to get one of my favorite salads with salmon. May be my last dinner date before baby!
Leftovers for lunch (taco salad) and a smoothie bowl for dinner! Breakfast was a greek yogurt and fiber cereal. I also snacked on wayyy too much ice cream and then some pretzel thins and watermelon. Only about a week or so left being pregnant. Gotta enjoy it a little! 😉
