Yesterday I found out my dad fathered another child I never knew about. he died 3 years ago so I had no way of asking him. I was excited that I had an older sister that I had never met, so I went on a research binge looking for her. I found her mother, and their phone number and her facebook page. When I looked at the page, I saw her profile pic was a beautiful happy young woman she had a lot of friends and a beautiful puppy and then I looked at her timeline.

The most recent post was from 2011.

It was her obituary. 

She died three years ago. Same as my dad. She was on antidepressants (much like myself, which as you may or may not know, depression is hereditary) and killed herself.

In my house, we have only one lamp. We call it the "Satan Lamp". It's a special sun lamp used to keep reptiles warm, and it literally gets so hot that it melted the coffee pot and instantly boils water.

Confessions

There was a boy that I knew since I was a little girl. We grew up together, we weren't exactly friends but we weren't exactly not friends either. He was very kindhearted and sweet. At least to me. He had a hard life. An abusive father and a neurotic mother from what I gathered. As the years went by e started getting involved with some bad things including heavy drugs. A year ago they found his body at the bottom of the lake. E was homeless ad had been living in his car. We weren't very close but I wish we had been, because I feel that I could have helped him. I could have tried to save him. But I now that somewhere there is a world where I did reach out to him and I did save him, and he pulled through it all. I hope he's happy in that world.
