Before Jazz, Prowl was in a complicated relationship with Tarantulas where Prowl would utilize his authority to enable Tarantulas to preform the experiments no one else would let him do in exchange for Tarantulas inventing war weapons behind Primes back under Prowls directions while also providing intimacy and companionship to one another (even tho Prowl lowkey hates his guts, but hey something is better than nothing and Prowl yearns to be loved). Tarantulas becomes mutated as a result of one of Prowls proposed experiments, and in turn he makes Prowl create life (Springer) with him, and if he refuses Tarantulas will pull his military support and affection off the table. Prowl agrees and helps create Springer, but by the time Springer exists prowl changes his mind and decided that he’d rather be unlovable and alone rather than live with the sick feeling he gets in his chest whenever he’s around Tarantulas. It ends with Tarantulas almost dead and on the run, but Impactor won’t kill Springer so Prowl puts the baby under Kups care and wipes all records of his creation.

Tarantulas Is responsible for the removal of Prowls eye, as a cortical psychic patch doesn’t work on him, Tarantulas decided to use a more risky method to acquire Autobot information. This permanently blinds Prowl in that eye and serves as a constant reminder of his sins.

WHAT IS THAT??? BOOM a baby🙏🙏 also I wanted to show off my flats and the sketches bc rendering saves lives dvfdgsgsggshshsh (more under the cut)

Lore: basically I thought about how since baby’s aren’t really a thing I usually just make them up, what if the All Spark kinda just spat one out (the first of its kind) shortly before dying (ie the low power due to death made the Well create this sort of half baked Cybertronian that needs to finish cooking outside of the well and needs to be cared for so it doesn’t die💀

Alpha Trion comes across her and cares for her, but during the final siege on Cybertron he plops her in an artifact pod and assigns it to open only at Optimus’s spark signature (bc this man loves sending off relics and making them all Primes problems *cough* *cough* *Smokescreen* *cough*

So basically Jazz and Optimus are spending some time together out on a mission to recover a relic, and once it’s found no matter how hard Jazz pulls it just won’t open until Optimus tries, but Devore they can get the lid off they are jumped by some cons, which results in Jazz tuning off with the relic but unfortunately falling down a narrow ravine (too narrow for prime or a ground bridge) in his escape due to con meddling. It is then when he opens the pod to find a living life that immediately gets attached to him (and him in turn)

(When they get back to bace Jazz all but begs prime to let him keep her, prime obviously says yes bc that’s his best friend and also he has enough on his plate, like c’mon Alpha Trion stop giving this man MORE responsibilities 🥀) also I haven’t decide if she was already named Arcee and that name was just a popular name choice on Cybertron or if they named her after Arcee who’s Prowls best friend 🙏🙏
