Not a diy post I know 🙏🏻 but I wanted to show off my new hair. Last pic I posted of myself was with orange hair in ps (did not last long then went to green). But the first two pictures are the before of faded pink, purple and teal, and ofc the one below is my new hair!

But let’s not forgot about the indigenous people who fought for their freedom, who still have cases of indigenous especially women who still go missing, had their land stolen and have and still experience violence or discrimination.

So yes it’s Canada Day, but it’s also the day to remember history and the lives that are still affected.

My current jacket, hand sewn back panels, hand made patches, hand studded.

I love and hate this thing, I put a ton of work into it, all the leopard print I hand sewed on, with floss, but I hate the color of the base denim, I feel like black is much more suited to me, and honestly I just hate blue jean blue as a color.

And yes there's a FIDLAR patch on there, love those guys, don't care how poppy they sound, they were there for my entire addiction, so eat it.

Love this piece but it's time to finish it and begin a new.

Made a nausea patch for my new bag! Made the patch myself and the bag is from the thrift. I love how the patch came out and it fit where I wanted it to fit 💪🏼

I haven’t posted a diy in SO LONG (unmotivated sadly), but I’m finallyyy fixing the hole in my converse after a year of putting it off. Had these baby’s since the 7/8th grade (I’m not in school anymore)

Some new patches I made with something other then paint to test out, I used different felts and oil pastels so we’ll see how they fade + good experimentation for different crafts 😋

Stop Canada from building Al facilities!

If you're from Canada or more specifically Vancouver island BC or if you're not, Vancouver island is a beautiful place with lots of ecosystems, oceans, animals, forests, etc. And for summer we get alot of wildfires which cause damage to the nature around us and the people who live in this area, with these fires in the summer we already have a tight water limit/shortage of water for the summer.

If Vancouver island specifically Nanaimo BC successfully builds this generative Al facilitate, it will be taking millions of gallons EACH DAY, and with our already tight water usage especially in summer this will make our water usage even stricter for the community, and will damage the beautiful ecosystem we have around here.

Trans girls to leave Girlguiding UK

Girlguiding UK has become the latest in a long list of organisations to bend the knee to transphobia since the Supreme Court ruling in April, and has announced trans girls are now banned from girl guides (as of 02/12/25)

Here is their statement:

"Girlguiding’s governing charity documents set out that the membership and people who benefit from our organisation are girls and women. The Supreme Court ruled that girls and women are defined in the Equality Act 2010 by their biological sex at birth.

Following detailed considerations, expert legal advice and input from senior members, young members and our Council, the Board of Trustees for Girlguiding has made the difficult decision that Girlguiding must change, following the Supreme Court’s ruling.

From today, 2 December, it is with a heavy heart that we are announcing trans girls and young women will no longer be able to join Girlguiding. This is a decision we would have preferred not to make, and we know that this may be upsetting for members of our community."

Many members of girl guides as well as scouts network have already started organising against them, and you can help!

hey so don't use this. RabbelLabs, the company actually creating this platform, trains AI models. Jack Dorsey is best friends with Elon Musk and they both advocate constantly for the abolition of IP law because it stands in the way of AI 'growth' (theft). They're banning AI on the platform so they can use it as a clean slate to train more fucking AI. They're also using images of Divine, the drag queen, to push their shit and I guarantee they didn't get permission from her estate.
