I just want to give a huge thank you to everyone who already has and will in the future, stop by to give my fic a chance.

This started as an attempt to get an idea that’d been sitting in my head for a couple of years out into the world. Then in April of 2021, someone I love, who raised me and taught me to read and to love books, died. It torn me apart. She never got to read anything I wrote, because I wanted to wait until it was finished before I showed it to anyone. I’ll always regret that. 

So in a way I’m writing this fic for her and for me. To prove I can finish what I start, and that my creative ideas are not stupid. I hope where she is now, she’s able to read what I’ve written.

So thank you all for giving this a chance. Even if it didn’t end up being your kind of thing. 99 kudos and almost 2400 views, with 10 finished chapters, 9 of them posted, and who the heck knows how many more still left to write. Thank you dearly.

"How the hell did you know," he said, begrudgingly impressed.
