I have a question for all the OGs who were there on that fateful day. So, yeah, Xena´s finale. Were people upset about the episode in general, about Gabrielle’s ending, about Xena’s death, or about all of it?

I know this may be controversial, but I remember being angry because Gabrielle wasn’t given proper mourning. I even got upset seeing her smile at the end next to what I suppose was Xena’s ghost (?). Were we also supposed to guess if that was a ghost or just Gabrielle’s imagination? I still remember it, and it still makes me angry.

I was soooo disappointed. I couldn't understand the whole Japan thing, which could be something thrown in the middle of the season not the finale.

Xena dies just like that. No heroic fight, no nothing, Gabrielle is sad but then she's ok. These are the women who did so much crazy shit to bring one back to life and be together. Gabrielle would be in Japan underworld so fast beings living there wouldn't know what hit them, before she grabbed Xena's soul and drag her out.

Also, the whole sacrifice thing was so stupid and lame, Akemi was stupid, the evil warlord or whoever he was was stupid, the whoe redemption for sins was stupid.

Good thing was the kiss and... Yeah, I guess that's it.
