The sessions will look at: Digital media and social media strategies:  Online vs. offline Practical exercises to help you understand how the industry is currently working, how it has always worked, and how you can get into - and out of - it About Vidal: After touring as part of award winning band J-Life, Vidal Ventured into The then-fledgling area of Multimedia as a Network Analyst (Internet Traffic Cop!)  for the likes of Argos, Emagic Publications, Npower, The First Resort and McDonald's Armed with an NVQ from CONEL, and a degree in Music and Business Studies from University of Surrey, he then produced graphic novels, curated art exhibitions and Jazz jam sessions. He then produced, recorded and toured his own Jazz album which has been in the Top 20 of Reverbnation's Jazz charts for over ten years. His online magazine www.jazzreloaded.com  was the first to be awarded digital jazz publication of the Year By The All Party Parliamentary Jazz Appreciation Group. He is also a published Science Fiction author, composer, and wrote a Jazz Sci-Fi Operetta, www.thehorizonventure.com, which toured the UK in 2012 Vidal is currently playing with The Courtney Pine Band, scheduled to tour the UK in February 2014 He also hosts www.despop.co.uk  and produced the graphic novel, "The Trouble With Katie Rogers".
