I know that 4e had an Asian woman and Caucasian man depicted for their human entry. There are plenty of examples of artwork not featuring skimpy outfits (and there is nothing wrong with skimpy outfits btw) and as its an RPG, anyone could play any concept for gender and items like sex-swap items existed in D&D for decades.

2. Nobody encourages the harassment of women in MtG. If you’re referencing Christine Sprankle, she was ‘harassed’ not because she was a woman but because she did something stupid: played a game called flip it or rip it, something MtG players hate.

3. Female space marines are not needed and the only reason you want them is for ideological reasons. Women don’t need to see themselves to play an army, since I know other women who love 40k and never play a human faction. Women interested in 40k will get into 40k regardless of female space marines.

4. You’re an idiot who is using so called bigotry and harassment as leverage to gain further control over other hobbies. There is no quantifiable proof of women and other groups being harassed more than others.

1. It is relevant. People are saying group A is not inclusive, I explain my personal experiences to show that group A is not. The fact that you are wanting to write me off as a token is absurdly transparent about your real motivations here.

I’ve seen a lot of people claiming Anita lies, yet I’ve never seen any actual evidence to back that up. Every game she’s covered that’ve I’ve personally played I’m like ‘yeah she right that did happen and it was fucked up’. She does not con people out of money, the women vs tropes in video games is an ongoing series to this day, granted during very slow intervals but she does a lot of other work. I haven’t seen her claiming ‘some women choose wrong’ or seen her harassing anyone, so some sources would be appreciated.

And the reason people aren’t buying bioware games anymore is because their most recent game sucked. Andromeda was rushed and weak on all standpoints from storytelling to gameplay. It has nothing to do with trying to make games more inclusive and progressive. While opinions on Sera differ, many gay men I know (including myself) were extremely happy with Dorian in DAI, it was not pandering. The only people I saw complaining about DA2’s all bisexual romances were straight people, crying “it’s unrealistic!” Where in reality LGBT+ naturally flock together anyway, and in truth they’re just upset that everything’s not just for them anymore.
