❌ I accept hate. Not everyone is obligated to love the characters, and there will always be reasons to hate some (it's even valid if there aren't any reasons). But excessively aggressive and degrading verbal language will not be tolerated. No death threats. If I feel the message is too much, it won't be published. Not even following the corresponding censorship pattern.

💡Censorship will be applied by using a number for the first vowel of the character's first and last name (if it's possible). If you don't want to see it, block the tag. If this blog's existence bothers you, block the blog.

It seems a bit ridiculous to me that they say Kaito is overrated, when DetCo isn't very popular outside of Japan. Don't even get me started on Magic Kaito, which is his main series... that's been on an eternal hiatus...

this fandom is literally so hating hater coded why aren't we more weird. where is the rants on -cest relationships and fucked up AUs that connect to the characters by a thread but we don't care because it's hot and messier relationships. yall say you like toxic yuri but the most popular f/f ship seem to be kazuran. 36 fics on AO3 btw. The hell is this man ://

I don't really like the very childish portrayal of Ako; many KiA* shippers make her sound like she has some kind of cognitive developmental issue… and I don't think a serious headcanon/fanfic about that is wrong… but they don't do it that way.

They present her in scenarios where it seems like A*ko doesn't know anything and they make her seem very dim-witted… And is that just weird? And she's completely unaware of what's going on. It's as if she's incapable of consenting at all? Too strange.

Has anyone noticed Kaito's life is just chaos? Morning: running on zero sleep. Afternoon: local witch throws a curse for fun. Night: Nakamori screaming while he's avoiding the guys who literally murdered his dad. On a random tuesday he could be kidnapped by a mad scientist making a clone of him and a casual trip ends up uncovering an entire pirate ship. But he still manages to be a top student. That kid stresses me out. My boy really needs vacations

hey guys as a fandom, can we refrain from posting hate of characters into their main tags? like anyone else, we come into characters' main tags for fanarts, discussions, fandom shenanigans, funsies — not wank. this is targeted but I'm not going to mention them by name. even if you don't like the character, please consider the experiences of your fellow fans. how would you like it if your favourite character's tags are also full of salt?

(this is one of the things I appreciate this confession blog doing — thank you for not posting hate into characters' main tags!)

With some common sense, we can make things better for everyone in the fandom

Not a big fan of R*n, she's genuinely so annoying in *some* episodes but those episodes turn me off so bad that I can barely watch DC now

I can only get into K*ish*n if the fanwork places an extra weird emphasis on their look-alikeness or the fact that they are kind-of-half-siblings. Or that dating each other is like dating your mirror with a different personality and that's hot.
