How to make tea the "British Shorthair"-way:

Miszka has now created this great 10-step guide on how to make tea. She has worked really hard on it so I hope you'll enjoy it!

1. Pick a cup.

2. Clean the cup...with your tongue!

3. Ask your human for hot water.

4. Open tea bag. Any flavor is okay. Preferably tuna.

5. Put the tea bag in the hot water. Mind your whiskers!

6. Wait...

7. Carefully pick up the tea bag.

8. Throw the tea bag away or eat it, it's tasty I promise!

9. Stir it around a bit.

10. Voilá! Enjoy!

A while back ago I bought the cutes tea cups ever. I've always loved pugs so the moment I laid my eyes on these I knew I just had to get them.

The only problem now is how we're going to fit them in the kitchen cups/glass cupboard. At the moment it's full and there is no way my cups will fit there. Kind of annoying because I haven't been able to try them out, well Miszka has but I haven't. I think I have to clean out the cupboard so that I can store all my favorites in it.

♡Love is in the air.

Good news! My beautiful cousin is now engaged! I just can't believe it. I'm so happy for them. She really deserves all the good things in life.

To celebrate my newly engaged cousin I invited her over the other day and surprised her with her favorite champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, cheese, black truffle chips and bacon wrapped dates. We chatted forever about life, her wedding, the wedding dress and then we fixed our nails. Best play date ever!

The wedding is planned to be in two years and I'm looking forward to it so much!

I have a problem...

I've built up this crazy addiction and I've dragged M along with me. I'm talking about "The Simpsons Tapped Out". I love it and play it every spare moment I get. 

I just can't stop it's so much fun. The game is about building up Springfield after Homer blowed it up by accident. You get new characters the higher you get in levels and then you get heaps of quests and other fun things. It's more to the game than that you just have to try it out, believe me you won't get disappointed. Remember to give the game a couple of days you really have to give it a shot!

♔Glossybox June♔.

Phew! I've received so many glossyboxes lately that I find it hard to keep track of them. This is the June box and I liked it a lot. I actually found a few favorites in this one. 

Receiving a glossy box every month is fantastic, I always look forward to them. Sometimes they also have special theme boxes that you can order aside from the regular ones. I got one of those yesterday and I got so surprised because I had completely blacked out that I had ordered it.

Sebastian Professional - "Volupt Spray":

I always use heaps of hairspray to build up volume in my hair because since it's really long it can get quite flat and heavy. With the Volupt Spray I don't have to use as much hairspray. You spray the product in damp hair so I guess it works better if you blow dry it afterwards, since I don't own one myself I haven't been able to experience the full length of this product. 

Figs & Rouge - "100% Pure & Natural Tinted Lip Balm":

I love this lip balm. I use it almost everyday and it gives the pretties gloss ever. The light cherry tint really gives a lift to my everyday make up. I'm definitely buying this one in the future.

China Glaze - "Nail Lacquer":

I actually got this one in another color already so I knew straight away that I would love this one to. This polish is amazing, it lasts forever. 

Pierre René - "Sweet Berry Gloss":

Usually I don't like nude lip glosses that much but this one has just the right pigments to make it look good. The texture is great but I have to say that I find it a little hard to apply it and make it look even. Beside that I really like it.

Emite Make Up - "Professional Eye Lash Curler":

Nope, this one didn't work for me at all. It was super hard to get ahold of all the eye lashes and when I finally did it didn't curl as good as I hoped it would. I'm so sticking to the one I already have.

Strawberry Swing🍓.

There are only a few things in life that makes me this happy. Picking strawberries is definitely one of them. 

Unfortunately the season for strawberries in Sweden is not as long as I wished it was. Since my plan this summer was to eat so much strawberries until I barfed me and M decided to pick as much strawberries we could carry. We ended up with 18-19kg!! But then we had to visit the fields twice.

I hope I'll be able to pick some more before all the strawberries are completely wiped out. Remember I haven't reached my goal yet, actually I'm far from it. I'm craving strawberries breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Gremlin?

Miszka got her first bath ever today except for the time when she was really little and fell down the toilet, ha ha she looked like a sad little rat. Basically today was her first planned bath.

It went pretty well, she didn't even try to escape that many times. Taking baths is not her favorite thing in the world but it might be a step closer to cat shows if we decide that we'd want to go that far. I've always been curious how far Miszka could go in shows...but well see about that. The most important thing is that Miszka is okay with it otherwise it's not worth it.

I am with...

...bike of course! Ha ha!

Yep I got this really cool bike I found in an add. Luckily my mom could help me out because the old man who sold it lived 5 hours from me but 20 minutes from my mom. So after she had checked it out to see that everything worked fine she sent it to me. My mom can be so awesome! 

I really love my new bike and it's perfect for the city. It doesn't have that many gears, just two actually but it works fine anyway. Sometimes it's a bit of a workout but I see that as a good thing. The model is called "Kombi Lux" from the brand "DBS" which is a Norwegian brand. This very model came out in the 70s and is a cultural treasure. I love that it can be folded in half in case you need to travel somewhere or as in my case just store it in you apartment. 

The bike looks awesome considering how old it is. The only thing I'm going to change is the saddle, grips and then add a basket for my cat hi hi. I've found this really cool site in the UK that sells the most amazing bike saddles there is. I know I might sound nerdish but they just make the prettiest saddles I've ever seen. Summer is treating us well and I'm sure enjoying it at the fullest. People talk about the "Swedish Summer" and that it always rains a lot but this summer I haven't seen any sign of the so called "Swedish Summer". 

The pictures above are taken just at the beginning of June I believe. We were celebrating something and right now I feel really bad because I can't remember what it was ha ha. Perhaps I'm getting old...

Ha ha M wanted to show me the proper way to wear your socks...if you're 70+ that is! Ha ha he always crack me up♥

So here are the reviews on the May Glossybox. These are the product I got:

Elizabeth Arden - "Cermide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum":

I love Elizabeth Arden and I've actually tried these capsules before. Great moisturizing effect, I have to say. I'm not sure that I felt my youth getting restored but then I guess you have to use the capsules for longer that 2 weeks. Kind of weird smell to the serum though...

Color Club - "Age of Aquarius Nail Polish":

Amazing color! And the polish sure lasts a while to! 

Trind - "Hand Repair":

Okay hand cream, didn't feel any repairing going on. Did NOT like the fragrance, smelled like old lady. 

Dr. Bronner - "Liquid Soap":

BIG NO NO! I hated the fragrance on this one. I got lavender but it didn't smell like it at all. Ewww!

Wen - "Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner":

Worked fine, not an amazing conditioner. I'm sticking to my Davines products.

Also got a little bonus. Gave it to M though because it had the most horrific taste to it.

Pippi Longstocking.

Ha ha no not really but I do love all of the Pippi movies especially the ones with the pirates! ARGGHH!

M just dyed my hair and thank God for that. It had started to look more brownish than red and I just hate when it does that. I've had several different hair colors but red is definitely the hardest to keep, it goes light after just a few washes. Now I'm back to my usual red headed self.

♡Hair Care.

Davines has been my favorite hair brand for a while now and I've tried their wellness and color series before. I've always been a BIG fan of their leave in oil "OI Absolute Beautifying Potion" because it does wonders for my otherwise very dry and tangly hair. It also smells amazing.

Imagine how happy I got when I heard that they launched a whole "OI"-series, don't know what it stands for but I just knew I had to get it asap. If the leave in oil was awesome then the whole series must be fantastic.

I also got two items from Elizabeth Arden's "Eight Hour"-series. They were on more than half a price so there was really nothing I could do but to order them. I've tried these products before and they're must haves in my beauty routine. I'm especially picky when it comes to hand creams and lip balms because my hands and lips can get kind of dry(I live in cold Sweden, hello!) but as long as I have these two I'm saved.

Summer is here for real...

...and so far it has been awesome.

Yesterday we moved in to M's parents house because they're going on this long road trip around Norway, Poland and several other places. I envy them so much because I really want to see Norway! I've heard it's beautiful.

Having the house by ourselves isn't that bad either. Right now it's kind of boring but that's probably because people just left and M is working. I think I'm going to pour myself something to drink and then just chill outside in the sun with my "Slash" book(awesome, read it!).

So midsummer was great, real cosy. We spent midsummer's eve at M's parents house with his siblings. I don't think I've eaten that much food ever.

We all made different dishes so me and M took care of the herring and dessert. We ate all night and M made the most amazing Amaretto Sour drinks.

I love spending time at that house and in about two weeks we'll be staying there while M's parents are away on vacation. Wohoo!! I'm so looking forward to it, they have a jacuzzi and all!
