Honestly, I support Will Smith smacking the shit out of Chris Rock for making fun of Jada’s baldness. Aside the fact that it’s a result of a medical condition, and therefore in extremely poor taste, it’s beyond time to stop making jokes about women’s bodies, period.

And at a public event like this, you’re expected to just sit there and laugh quietly so you appear to be in on the joke and cool and not taking yourself too seriously. Because god forbid a woman demand to be treated with respect.

And Chris’s attempt to defend himself by making it to be a harmless little joke that it would be ridiculous to be bothered by… fuck him. Don’t make digs or jokes or mean-spirited comments about women’s bodies. It’s not okay, and we’re justified when we get upset about it, and trying to play it off as no big deal is a bullshit power move men use to keep us down.

Like damn I was tired of Will after all his interviews this year, but that genuinely raised him in my estimation. Direct action.
