Enjoy this tasty vegan brownie fruit pizza that is free of gluten. This dessert is both pretty and tasty. It has a chewy brownie crust and bright fresh fruits on top. It's great for parties or just as a sweet treat every day.
Ingredients: 1 cup gluten-free flour blend. 1/2 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 cup coconut sugar. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Assorted fresh fruits such as strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, etc.. 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips optional, for drizzling.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Line a 12-inch pizza pan with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add applesauce, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. Spread the brownie batter onto the prepared pizza pan, forming a round pizza crust. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the brownie crust is set. Allow to cool completely. Once cooled, arrange assorted fresh fruits on top of the brownie crust. If desired, melt dairy-free chocolate chips and drizzle over the fruit pizza. Slice and serve!
