Not gonna share my full name, but you can call me Meena!
Huge bookworm, kpop stan, loves anime, all around dweeb ā¤ļø
14 years old, please be respectful with comments as I am a minor
Born and living in Ireland, my parents are from India
She/her pronouns, I identify as pansexual
Huge feminist, BUT. I do support trans women and I do believe men can be feminists and deserve good treatment as well. If you disagree with this, please dni as I would rather not waste time arguing with misandrists and transphobes disguised as feminists.
DNI:
People who make/interact w smut of real people eg; idols, even if they're adults. I feel extremely uncomfortable with that type of content so I would rather not interact with people who create or use it.
Generally people who interact with smut a lot and have a lot of 18+ content on their blogs
Homophobes, transphobes, racists. I need not explain further.
The earlier mentioned 'feminists.'
I don't mind interacting with adults as long as any interactions stay appropriate, for example
Discussions of fanart/fanfics
Civil debates of any appropriate topics
Talking about characters or people
Talking about different fandoms in general
And finally my amazing wonderful Moots @sparklylngshotfan @bisexualgranger @darcy-doesntexist @missleebit @iheartglittr
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEO VALDEZ (my personal favorite of the seven) I LOWK FEEL LIKE BRO WOULD BURST INTO FLAMES AND CALL HIMSELF THE CANDLE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY
I love the quote 'people assume of others what they know of themselves' because it explained so much for me.
The quote describes the False Consensus Effect (1) or the Projection Bias Effect (2) where humans subconsciously assume that (1) everyone shares the same morals/mindset as themselves or (2) they suspect everyone of things they subconsciously know of their own character.
I read this quote and started thinking how it could apply to me, and I realized it can stem from both positive and negative traits
Example 1 - someone who gives without expecting anything in return (eg; lending money and not expecting someone to pay it back) may expect someone to treat them the same way, giving without expectation of anything in return/as payment
Example 2 - someone who lies about anything no matter how big or small may wonder why they distrust other people even though they have no reason to feel that way. This is because your subconscious assumes they have the same traits as you, therefore assuming they will lie about anything.
(yes both of these may or may not apply to me I'm not a pathological liar trust little white lies don't mean anything)
Anyway, I find it so interesting that our subconscious is automatically so self aware that it sees traits of ourselves in other people, even if it affects us negatively.
So next time you wonder why you feel strange about what other people do (or don't do) think about whether or not it's your own character you're looking for š¤
The struggle of having solid opinions and views but being quiet, non confrontational and sensitive to a fault
And having friends who also have strong opinions but express them a lot, enjoy discussing and arguing/debating, are very strong willed, and are not nearly as sensitive as yourself
And then having conversations with them and feeling like spontaneously combusting because your lack of ego and self worth make you doubt yourself to the point of self hatred
Wahhhhhh
(it's gotten better trust it still sucks tho)
(joined debate club and it's literally exposure therapy lol)
(not targeted, this is just generally most people I know/myself)
If you could be any sort of undead, like a ghost, vampire, zombie, etc, what would you choose? I'm very curious to see what people will say, hence the tag game to make it spread a bit further!
Obviously I'm satisfied with being a ghost, but I would be a vampire if given the chance!
Back with another moot game :3 ... (pls donāt flop)
SO! You find 5 images on the internet that you believe suits the person who tagged you. (So basically 5 images of what you think their aesthetic would be) And then you tag your moots and they see what YOUR aesthetic would be :3
Me trying to explain that period cramps are a thing that do exist and do hurt to some ignorant 10 yr old boy:Ā
The ten yr old boy: āoK, bUt HaVe YoU eVeR bEeN kIcKeD iN tHe BaLlZ?
Um no. But I have been kicked in the vagina, punched and kicked in the stomach, pulled by my hair, had my ear pinched, stepped on the face, bitten on the arm, and almost had my arm ripped off (dw this is all from play fighting w my sister and cousins/dog)
There are 3 differences between that and period cramps.Ā
Difference 1 - Internal vs External. Internal injuries/discomforts can affect a far wider area of the body, (eg; hitting your head vs a headache - hitting it affects a small area, while headache makes your whole head throb)
Difference 2 - How long the pain lasts. Getting punched/kicked will cause pain for a relatively short amount of time, depending on the severity. And I mean, come on. Weāre talking in the context of 10 year old boys fighting on yard. Itās really not that bad. Whereas severe period cramps can sustain multiple days in a row, as well as severity being equal to that of a heart attack or a burst appendix.
Difference 3 - Aftermath. Someone who sustains a leg injury will find it difficult to walk for days, maybe weeks, even after the injury is fully healed. People who suffer from severe period cramps can feel extreme discomfort before and after, lasting maybe days. Personally, I get cramps 2 or 3 days before my period starts, and even then, I have aches during the first few days. In short, it sucks. Whereas getting kicked in the sensitive parts gives maybe 5 minutes max of difficulty walking, and thatās if youāre a wimp who makes things overdramatic. (obviously disregarding anyone with physical conditions that could make it actually impactful)
In conclusion, I am not trying to say that people who menstruate should be given all the passes, simply because they get cramps. I am not trying to tell people that cramps are always brutal, life threatening symptoms of bleeding from one's vaginal orifice.Ā
What I am trying to say is that simply because period cramps are something one person might not suffer from, doesnāt mean itās not real. All of you young boys. Would you worry for someone if they said they had a throbbing headache? Would you help someone out if they said they pulled a muscle, even if you canāt see it?Ā
Then why wonāt you believe someone who says they are experiencing a scientifically proven painful biological function? Is it because they have different genitalia than yourself? Is it because you donāt have a clear understanding of it? And no, I am not a crazy man hating feminist. I am a young girl, who doesnāt get period cramps nearly as bad as the next person. I am a kid who wants women to be believed when they say that they are hurting. I want the next generation of kids to understand that because someone has a vagina instead of a penis, doesnāt mean that their issues are not relevant to you.
So kids, what did we learn today?
āI may have been kicked in the balls, but I have never had sustained bleeding from a hole in between my legs. They are not the same, but they are both real, and valid things to happenā
Lets raise the next generation to not be assholes!
1. I want to get into drawing or just art in general
2. I think I gotta say @darcy-doesntexist because the freak on them needs to be studied
3. I would have to say a cat (basic Ik) or a kinkajou (THEY'RE SO CUTEEE)
4. Hmmmmmmmmm
Does coming up with great ideas for stories and dropping a wip off at an orphanage after a week count?
Jokes aside I think it would probably be speed reading or logic puzzles
