I always enjoyed writing about the apocalyptic. Plagues, war, hi-tech enslavement, etc. Now that all of those things have become the norm, I've had to struggle a bit to find some new territory to explore. So here is a very short collection of what I wrote in 2020

Where will the school shooters go?

If you were around for the “war on terror,” you probably already suspect, as with Covid, there is no “return to normal.” This is just the new disposition of life. With so much shut down, I’m left to wonder what will become of the mass shooter? Schools and workplaces are typical venues where mass shooters like to stage these blood-soaked temper tantrums for obvious reasons. These places are filled with the people they would find it most satisfying to shoot. Now, we’ll have more deranged young potential mass shooters than ever before, but many of them will have no place to vent their wrath, so what will they do? They will find new places to go and air their grievances. These extremely alienated individuals lacking any solidly human objects of hate will turn it against all of society. If you thought you were safe from mass shooters because you don’t work in a school, then you’ll want to think again because these ticking time bombs are everywhere, and when they blow, you just have to hope you’re not within range.
