Design Process 1 cover I did for my portfolio’s opening page. Very happy with it. Inspired by Blame!

Jhin painting. Quite pleased with it, custom watercolor imitation brush, while not yet perfect, worked very well with my personal ink brush. I’ll continue working on making the watercolor better, since this really was quite enjoyable to do but with some more refinement can look even better, in my opinion.

Long overdue update but I think it’s been a worthwhile wait, since it’s all led up to me getting better at digital(Hopefully)

Here’s an Abysswatcher. I intend to color him as well once I find a neat way of doing so that’ll correspond with the ink style. Hope you like it either way.

Was sick last week, didn’t do a whole lot of drawing since the tablet just gave me a headache. Resuming standard services once again.

First thing I’m actually decently pleased with when it comes to actual painting. Of course, there’s a lot wrong with it and it doesn’t exactly look natural but it’s a foundation that I can build off of for sure. Eliminating the lineart for the future, as well as making the color transitions better seems like it’d pay off nicely.

Quicky of Babbage, just experimenting with colors to see if these work well with ink. This sort of paint style goes with it, I’d say. If I wasn’t too lazy to do details now, I might give it a more thorough look. But I’d say it’s good for base values.

Complete version if Pontiff. Because I’m not satisfied with a few things but they’re minor so I don’t feel like really going back to them now and probably will just do a new drawing soon. A few important things learned from this drawing. So hopefully they’ll serve me well in the future.

Pleased with it thus far though it also looked good with ink only. Not sure how I will proceed just yet but I like the cloth so I will likely stick to that brush for painting. Fire and judgement effects are yet to be decided.

Late night update, cause I spent 2 hours in bed, trying to fall asleep with too many ideas in my head.

Here’s good ol’ Soul of Cinder. Now, the sun immediately sticks out as terrible cause I was just fiddling around with tools and what ended up happening is that I screwed it up entirely. Oh well.

However I am pleased with everything else. The more I modify the brush, the better it feels when it comes to making everything that’s difficult about ink not difficult. Very enjoyable and I’ll probably continue using it though soon enough I’ll look into more valid tools for painting as well. Ink is fun but ink + color takes the cake.

Trying out something new.

This was very entertaining to draw, not gonna lie. The sketchy style really works for me digitally and I now wonder what I could do with it if I tried my earnest, seeing as this did yield a pretty fun result.

Hopefully the cosplayer in question is not too offended by how I turned her face into the stuff of nightmare, but she’ll have the opportunity to hit me for it soon enough.

Doodled this while waiting for somebody at uni, outlined it with ink. I intend to color this at some point but I have other priorities currently, so he’ll stay on the sidelines for the time being. Not happy with the visor
