Sorry guys, but I'm rather disappointed with first chapters of the webtoon

They added a lot of things that were never mentioned in the novel (what the hell are chapters from 1 to 3??? Where did they come from???)

And while adding plenty of extra stuff they've ruined the original plot line and cut out some scenes (Kim Sunghan was looking for Yoojin in association through the freaking BROADCAST. He waited for him near the MISSING CHILD PROTECTION CENTER. WHERE. WAS. THAT??? And it never mentioned Yoojin buying extremely dangerous and lethal poison)

Finally, wasn't his meeting with Myungwoo before his meeting with Yerim? Huh? Why do we already know Yerim but never took a glimpse of Myungwoo? Actually our meeting with Peace is before meeting Yerim TOO. I'm not saying I'm unhappy to see Yerim, but they ruined the original so much it hurts me

I totally agree with the fact that it’s disappointing that the original has changed so much. I was so looking forward to Peace but he is nowhere to be seen. But somehow, by the time I caught up I forgot about it. I was just too immersed in the manhwa, I didn’t even realise the changes.

Strangely, I’m probably one of the fewest people who doesn’t really mind the changes in SCTIR that much. Even though they almost changed the storyline and also added quite a few things that were never mentioned in the novel, at least what they are doing is not making the story worse? Well, yeah it would be very frustrating if they change everything but I’m just gonna wait for now. Let’s see how it goes.

I was finally able to read the manhwa of SCTIR in peace and I just really want to say this that- it.is.so. well. done.

When I got to know that it’s getting a manhwa adaption, my first thought was ‘I hope it’s not ruined like TCF.’

No hate but the manhwa adaption of TCF is nowhere near as good as the novel. I really appreciate the art. In fact, the art style is one of my favourite.But that’s it. The only reason is the art.

It doesn’t make me all excited unlike the novel. In the novel when Cale first used the shield during plaza terror incident, I was literally silent screaming but in the manhwa that moment lasted for a few seconds. I don’t know that scene- it just felt rushed. Not only that scene but some other parts as well.

Well, among the holy trinity- in comparison, the webtoon of ORV is also good. Not too slow, nor is it rushed. The pace is perfect. (Of course the novel is the best.) I hope TCF will also get better by time.

Anyways, the manhwa of SCTIR is soooo good. Maybe because I read the MTL of novel, I didn’t feel that much emotion reading the first scene where Yujin regressed. But in the manhwa? I was already in tears by the end of chapter 4. And the comedic scenes are also wholesome . It really has the perfect combination. I honestly love it and am really thankful for it.

I am looking forward to more and also waiting for the official translation. Lol
