very funny character trait of jamie’s is that when someone tells him something batshit he’ll go “aye ok” and then a second later he’ll actually process it and be like

the five doctors:
two and the brig:
there are things about the war chief that are like. if he’s the master it fucks so hard (like his thing about control). but there are other things that are like oh you’re not him. so the clear answer is he’s only the master when it’s thematically convenient or when it’s funny
Should the Fourth Doctor and Harry Sullivan divorce?
Yes, absolutely
No, their love is forever
No, they're perfect for each other (derogatory)
They should divorce remarry and divorce again that's how divorced they should be
I don't know these characters but they look cute together
I don't know these characters but they should divorce
I have zero opinion on their relationship status
Reason:
The Doctor called Harry an imbecile:(
just one example of his sickening lies

I work with elementary schoolers at a daycare and they’ve all recently become obsessed with weaving potholders which is awesome go fiber arts!!
Except. This means that now second graders are coming up to me and asking, ‘do you know where the looms are?’ At least 3 times per day
Which. Is fine. If you’re a sane person. Which I’m very much not. And it takes me out every single time
the doctor staring at child elton like this makes me laugh everytime
it must be really annoying for companions who leave the tardis to have to adjust to not having access to any potential future media they got into. like what if yaz got really into pink pony club and had to wait six months for it's release? did martha jones watch iron lung and then find herself sad that she had to wait 20 years to watch it again? was ian on tiktok and couldn't access his access account for 55 years? many such questions
FIRST MISSING EPISODES FOUND IN TWELVE YEARS. NEVER KILL YOURSELF.
Okay, no, but the recovery of these two Classic Doctor Who episodes specifically is actually kind of incredible, and I don’t think people fully realize why.
Most recovered missing Doctor Who episodes turned up overseas. Back in the 1960s the BBC sold prints of stories to broadcasters all over the world, and sometimes those stations just… kept them. Meanwhile the BBC wiped or junked their own tapes. That’s how discoveries like the Nigeria find happened.
But The Daleks’ Master Plan is weird.
The serial was considered unusually dark and violent, and censors in Australia and New Zealand rejected it. Those two markets were really important to the BBC’s overseas sales at the time, so without them the whole thing became much less worth distributing internationally. As a result, it just wasn’t widely sold abroad.
And overseas distribution is the main reason most lost episodes have been recovered....
So when the BBC wiped their copies, there weren’t foreign prints sitting in random TV station archives around the world waiting to be rediscovered. So it was just super unlikely any part of this story survived.
Which is what makes this discovery so wild. These episodes didn’t come out of some TV archive on the other side of the planet. They survived likely because a private collector somehow ended up with telerecording prints that were made internally by BBC technicians for quality checks before possible overseas distribution.
For a serial long considered one of the least likely ever to be recovered, finding even two episodes is a minor miracle.
The Doctor's assistant Peter Purves was invited to a screening of the episodes in Leicester.
Episodes one and three of "The Daleks' Master Plan" have been recovered and will air on Easter!
what the fuck do you mean the 11th doctor was doing all his “no it is not my time! it will not catch me.” speech, and the moment he tried to call the brigadier and learned he passed— he immediately dropped it and declared it was his time.
fuck you
