Quote 15 - Spoiler free: A and B have been incredibly close friends since childhood. They currently live together and are raising/teaching four kids. This specific quote also draws parallels to an in universe fairytale/love story about a star falling in love with a tree.
Spoiler one: A has a parasite inside his eye socket that will kill him if he ever gets too comfortable. To combat this he originally had his memories frequently erased, once B learned about this he offered to erase his own memories and make A live with the secret, essentially keeping him in a constant state of anxiety. Whenever B works out what’s going on A erases his memories again (at his own request). The quote in question is A talking about how being around B and living with him makes him so happy and comfortable that he’s constantly scared of becoming a tree :)
Quote 53 - it's the context that gets me for this one. basically these two argue. all the time. never agree on anything. but then A needs to do something that is incredibly dangerous to do alone. but to do it together requires complete trust in each other, and is also incredibly dangeous without complete trust. and B says he'll do it. SO either he's 1. willing to risk the consequences if they DON'T trust each other, for A, or 2. has complete faith that they love and trust each other enough and it will work. and thaaaat is why this (A's reply) gets me. He forgives her and trusts her even if (spoilers) she killed ~6 people including some of his best friends, he's convinced that he's the culprit.
Quote 6 - A is stuck in a reincarnation cycle with another person ([name], who just for context, in this life looks exactly like B. It's complicated I'm not going to get into the details but [name] is the "original" B but had the current B replace him so he ([name]) could go scheme for 13+ years) and in the event this quote is from, A has a confrontation with [name] and learns that there's a curse involved in their reincarnation cycles that might have dragged a third person with them, and that third person is the current B. In previous lives, this third person has been implied to be very important to A, potentially even a lover, though the details are vague, and they haven't really gotten along in this life. This quote is at the tail end of a conversation between B and A where B promises to get [name] and A to make up and become friends again. They exchange magatamas which they made on their trip to Izumo and entwine their fates once more.
