I can’t seem to read or write

Always Thinking

I don’t know why I am always thinking.

I can never stay on the same thing for too long.

I have projects that I start but sometimes struggle to finish because I am already looking at the next thing.

I get a job then already wonder what my next job is going to be.

I contemplate every day if I should continue my education or not.

I wish I could relax a little more often because I have lost that chill side of me that I use to have because being an adult isn’t as easy as a 10 year old may think it is. It’s hard having to make decisions and wonder if thing will go in a good direction or plummet to the ground.

I trust that things will workout the way they are suppose to but I just wish I could chill out a little bit more.

Broccoli and Cheddar Soup Day

Today is a decent day, but I shouldn’t complain.

It’s Broccoli and Cheddar Soup Day!

Bought from your local Winn-Dixie,

even when they’re on the brink of closing.

It’s because their prices just aren’t the best.

Everyone shops at Walmart because they’re the lowest.

It’s true, Walmart is different per region.

Though they’re all the same when you see a long lost friend.

Have you seen the good deals they have?

Anyway, I got this Panera Bread soup, and I’m ready to eat.

Broccoli, carrot, the savory cheese that can’t be beat.

The creamy delicacy melts my heart which is alive and well.

When I clock in, I work with people who don’t know that I think they’re all swell.

I know I am loved like by God who gave my this delicious pick me-up.

Today should be a good day because today I woke up.

I thank God to see another day

and talk with my loved ones who are just a text away.

Tomorrow, will be better.

Tomorrow, I might wear leather.

Looking Back

Hey there,

I keep looking back and I don’t know why.

All these images of success are blurry to me.

I thought success was to keep moving forward and chasing your dreams.

Though I have let myself go, and now I am ashamed.

I worry about my body and that it is changing to what I have feared.

The magazines and social media say you must look a certain way.

I am unsure if I can measure up, literally.

People say I shouldn’t worry about my weight, but who are they to judge me?

I live in this skin and I cry cause I don’t feel as confident as I use to.

Looking in the mirror, there is no smile where there should be.

I suppose I am lazy, I work but I should work out. 

Eating healthy isn’t cheap, but nobody said it would be.

I don’t know why I am not loving me.

I can’t see why anybody would love me.

I am sorry for the glum, I can’t always be content.

Especially with myself, I am my biggest enemy.

Time to Budget

I am learning to budget better. That’s the theme for everything nowadays.

I get satisfaction in saving because I feel like corporate America is losing something, but I guess they probably aren’t really losing anything,otherwise why would coupons be a thing?

I knew women who would come into the grocery store I worked in and they would get money handed BACK to them for the coupons they used. Getting paid, to buy things, really.

I want to be that savvy but I don’t have the time.

For now, I have been focusing on Ibotta, GetUpside, and FetchRewards. They are helpful and I am earning back money on things I do normally. I want to discuss each of them to help people out and know that you’re not alone.

It is okay not to be rich, it is okay to save money, so I want to share how I am doing that. 

Budget is hard to handle. Especially when you want Chick-fil-a and can’t have it because you have to buy a bag of frozen chicken, you feel me? 

It’s also one of those choosing the better deal. I bought KFC last week to surprise my boyfriend but it was the 10PC Meal Deal... I was able to have Dinner one more time and lunch because of it. We all know Chick-fil-a gets eaten ASAP because it’s sooooo good. 

I will let y’all know how it’s going.

Workaholic

Hey everyone,

It’s another life update where I talk a  little bit about what’s going on. Maybe you can relate, or maybe not. Either way, I hope you are all having a fantastic Wednesday! 

I know that I work too much and I need to reel it back. I just can’t though because I think part of it is that I innately worry a lot. I don’t know why, but I worry that I’m going to wake up, be homeless, and not have any food on the table. I don’t know where this worry came from because I have never went without food. 

That’s why I don’t understand why I worry. 

I have faith in God, that’s another thing. I feel that because the Bible says that He will take care of the birds so why wouldn’t he take care of you? I wish I could get that tattooed on my brain. Who knows, I might get a bird tattooed on me to remind me when I’m worrying.

I want to do the things I love. Participate in the hobbies I really enjoy. I want to be with the people who really inspire me.

I’m going to cut back on working, I am. It’s the little steps that count, right? Give me some time, I will take it back some. I will relax. I will be free.

I might have several jobs now, but soon I will only have one...two..maybe a side hustle to do.

Managing the Life of a New Adult

Hi everyone, 

My name is Hope and I’m an average girl living in a big place called Orlando. I just moved here not too long ago. I haven’t even been here a month. People are crazy when you move to a new state because you’re having to get use to a new life with new people that may or may not be your friends. I’ve already been having car problems with my brand new car. Yes, really. I was broken into before even moving here and then I was rear ended my first week here. Terrible luck for my car. I am okay. I am glad I am alright. I have already learned things though like how Florida is considered a ‘no fault’ state which is basically where people can drive illegally and if they cause an accident, oh well. 

I’m trying to get back into writing. Writing is something I have always enjoyed doing.

I don’t know if anybody will relate to the things I’m saying, but I want to start fresh.

I want to try doing what I love.

Today is the last day of 2017. Everyone born in the 1990’s are now adults, there are no more 90’s kids.
