it did not. it is public knowledge the slave trade worked like this

and in fighting antiblackness within canada and europe it is so so so important to acknowledge these places's participation in and benefit from the transantlantic slave trade. Slavery is not just the US's dirty past, it is a triangular industry lasting centuries that white people in the united states, canada, and europe benefitted from and continue to benefit from to this day. Slavery was good for white canadians and white europeans. They liked it. they encouraged it. they had slaves, they profited from the slave trade, and they used products grown from US slave labour in every day life. The slavery of Black people would not have been possible on the sheer scale at which it happened if it were not for active, consistent participation from europe and canada.

Psa: animals that have different sex characteristics then what you would expect from their perceived sex are not "naturally transgender" they are intersex. Animals that "change" sexes are also not transgender. Gender is a construct that only exists in human populations meaning it is not naturally occurring. However (I'm not a scientist) I have heard of some animals taking on behaviors of the other sex which is probably a bit closer to transgender as you'd probably call it. No this doesn't make trans people any less valid I'm trans myself but in my mind I'm intersex first and I'm tired of people calling intersex animals transgender. This should open your eyes to how stupid assigned gender actually is and let you just exist as yourself without the will of other people not start saying more intersexist bullshit.

Lets take a look at the thought experiment of a patriarchy centring transmascs as the most prioritised group:

FGM would be banned and practically non existent - if it was ever even thought of - because a natal vagina would have no stigma attached to it

Child Marriage could not exist, because it would be recognised as morally wrong to try and force such a huge decision before children had reached their final form

Abortion would be free and accessible for all

Children would be able to express their gender as they wished, as it was imperative that they find out who they really are

HRT would be free and accessible from an early age

Intersex, afab and other non-pericis male bodies would have to have be studied

Different hormone systems would have to be included in all medical studies

Crash dummies would be an actual average human rather than the average pericis male, this would mean fewer women were outside the range of testing and therefore people die in crashes

There would be no homophobia or lesbophobia

Free the nipple would have succeeded (because transmasc bodies which often include breasts are the default)
