Ghostbusters: The Curse of Koza'Rai Chapters:
Just wanted to make you guys aware of this scam that seems to be going around now on here:
This account messaged me on friday but I didn't see the message until yesterday. I looked back at their account to see if it was just someone who wanted to chat about similar interests that's when I found something strange: The account hadn't posted since 2021 but all of a sudden reblogged some posts (which didn't go along with what their ENTIRE Tumblr was about) the same day they messaged me. When they finally responded, I read over the "email" they'd gotten and immediately googled this Samuel York guy. This is what came up:
Tumblr Scam Tricking People Into Contacting a Phony Customer Support Through Discord
Is this a problem?
Pov: your friend has no WiFi all day so roots out her old CSI dvds
My personal favourite:
Just needed to put that out there

reblog and put in the tags what topic would save you if you had to talk (with sensible amount of cohesion) for one hour straight, otherwise you'd die
Is there anyone out there who writes for Dr. Joseph M'benga? I've searched and searched and nothing.
THIS IS A LUTHER STICKELL APPRECIATION POST. SHARE IF YOU LOVE LUTHER STICKELL. KILL YOURSELF IF YOU DONT LOVE LUTHER STICKELL
Why are there no Luther x reader fics that are just him and reader?
I need some Luther fluff after Final Reckoning...
I'm officially transferring to a new location for my job
For a little background, I work in customer service and was hired by the company back in July of last yr and did my training at another location since the one I'm currently at wouldn't open until October.
Training went great. My assistant CS manager was going to be the assistant CS manager at the new location. She was amazing, always on top of things.
When it was time to go to the new store, everything was fine until a few weeks in.
Rude coworkers treating me like I'm incompetent, management telling me things months into my job I should've been told in training. The whole shitty shabang.
2 weeks before Thanksgiving, I put in a time off request that sat there for 2 weeks untouched. I was put on the schedule for the 27th (I hadn't been able to seen the schedule for that week when I put in the request). I didn't do anything abt it because I had faith in management that they would do their jobs and at least look at the request because I couldn't possibly be the only person taking time off for the holiday, especially since my assistant CS manager already knew I was going out of town.
Boy was I wrong.
I received a call 2 hours into the shift that I couldn't be at because I was in a different state asking me if everything was alright since they hadn't seen me. I told them everything was fine and that I was just out of state. I also explained that I had put in a time off request 2 weeks in advance. She tried to tell me that maybe it was denied and I told her no that it was sitting at pending for 2 weeks. I honestly think they didn't notice I wasn't there until I had to do carts.
After that, I wasn't scheduled for a while and received a message of "possible separation" due to the fact that I hadn't worked in a while. Not my fault. I have no control over my schedule. When I called to speak to my assistant CS manager since she was really the only one who gave a damn abt me, I was bluntly told that she had been promoted and didn't there anymore.
Then, when I finally got scheduled again, I met our CS manager. She'd seemed nice enough at the welcome to store thing, but I hadn't seen her since. I was just doing my job and she comes over, asking me if I'd been trained on our carryout service. I say yes. She tells me that if I continue to not ask people if they need help out to their cars, she's gonna send me home. Mind you, the customers that we'd had come through were either big families or decently fit guys who barely had anything. So, out of fear that I was still being watched (I was on the complete opposite side of the store from her when she came over) and would be sent home, I asked EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. who came through the line if they needed help out. And guess what? People laughed at me. You know why? Because it's ludicrous. If they look like they need help, I'll ask, but if it's people who obviously don't, what's the point?
From then on, she continued to treat me like I didn't know what I was doing and today was no different.
Today, I was scheduled from 1:30pm to 5:45pm. I get there, clock in, and she tells me I need to do a store sweep among a billion other things before I had carts in half an hour. So I go get the broom and begin working. Then I get called back to the front to do a pickup order.
By the time I'm finished with that, it's 4 mins into my cart time, so I put up the broom. As I get ready to go do carts, she stops me and asks if I did the store sweep. I say I got through part of it and she asked if i swept the front of the store. I say no because I was called by the girl at the CS desk to do a pick up order. She asks me what time I got there, even though she has schedule papers right in front of her in her hand. I say 1:30. She says ok and leaves and I go do carts.
My mom was shopping at the store during this time and she said whe she was leaving, the CS manager looked as if she was standing guard by the door, like someone was gonna escape.
Everyone I've ever talked to about the company who has also worked there has also had a horrible experience.
Adding to this because I worked last Sunday:
So, I'm just minding my own business, doing what I'm supposed to do and my manager comes up to me and asks if I'm ask the customers about the carryout service we offer. For reference, we'd just had a guy come through, I asked him if he would like help out, and he declined. I told my manager that I did and he said no. She said that she didn't hear me and again tells me that managementwill send me home if I dont ask (Sorry honey, but I did. I can't help if you can't hear). She then proceeds to tell me we have to use a specific phrase when asking and also said that this was not a her thing, but a company thing.
I only ever get scheduled once a month (I've received 4 of those "notice of possible employee separation" because of it) and she seems to come after me every time. This woman watches me like a hawk for no fucking reason. Instead of talking to bagger next to me who hadn't asked if she could help the customer out to their car at all during the 4 hr shift, she chooses to give me a talking to purely because she didn't hear me ask one guy even though I did.
I also think that the phrasing thing IS a her thing because I've been to dozens of other locations for this company and absolutely no one has used that phrase. Most of the time they don't fucking ask (which, according to my manager, they should be sent home for but none of the locations seem to be grossly understaffed).
Just an update to the situation:
I didn't transfer. I quit almost 4 weeks ago now and am at a much better place.
When I resigned, I told my manager that it was because I found a place that would give me more hours than I was getting.
She responded with "I'm sorry. But we try to be fair with everyone."
The fuck is that supposed to mean?
How is it fair that in the time that I've worked for you, you haven't scheduled me enough for me to make enough money to qualify for a fucking credit card?
I've officially been at my new job for 2 weeks (by sunday) and by that point I will have gotten over half of the hours I got in the span of 8 months at my old job. I'm also making more money as well.
Small update: I just got off the phone with my new job and told them that I was sorry for calling out for my Wednesday shift (quite reluctantly I might add) due to the fact that I had a fever and an infection and told her I wouldn't be able to come in today due to the fact that I was in the ER last night because of it and the manager I talked to (the one who interviewed me) almost immediately asked me if I still wanted to work since I'd called out 3 times. WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK?! THAT ISN'T SOMETHING YOU SAY TO ONE OF YOUR EMLOYEES WHO JUST TOLD YOU THEY'D BEEN IN THE ER LAST NIGHT!

I'm having to rewatch some of the clips of The Toymaker from The Giggle because for my final in the 3rd level of my film class, my group is incorporating the Stooky Bill giggle into the project (I'm doing the voice so I have to attempt Lux, Maestro, and the Toymaker) and its given me an idea involving my Doctor Who OC that I've had for years but never really did anything with.

reblog and put in the tags a song that you know exactly what it is from the first millisecond of it being played
Don't you just hate when you have a really good idea but it goes away before you can write it down only for it to come back, but not all the way, when you see an actor you had as a face claim for a character doing an interview for his new movie
