HTTYD: HOMECOMING

Hey, httyd SPOILERS ahead!!

So, I just have a little comment/question/worry about the spoilers from HTTYD: HOMECOMING. Ok, first of all, I’m pretty exited about the short film and I’m so glad we get to see a little from the riders’ adulthood (30 minutes was it?), but I got a little suspicious while observing some new spoilers. I can’t seem to find a single clip or picture with both Toothless and Hiccup. I also know the setting is supposed to be before the ending of HTTYD 3. It makes me worried.

So, here you have my plot theory (this is messy): 

The nightlights find New Berk, and Toothless goes there too. During what seemed like a play, Toothless suddenly appear on ‘stage’ and everyone seems shocked. Hiccup and Astrid are elsewhere, but other villagers are there. Maybe we get to see the nightlights and Toothless interact with everyone, except from Hiccup and Astrid because they are elsewhere. Then in the end we will see Toothless and his little family fly off, and Hiccup finally gets to see them (he looks pretty shocked when Toothless - it looks like - fly away). Then the story skips to HTTYD 3’s ending scene, where Hiccup and his family goes to find Toothless near the Hidden World.

Sorry if all this was confusing, but I’m just trying to get out my plot worries here eheh. To say it simply: I’m worried that Hiccup and Toothless won’t interact AT ALL in HTTYD: HOMECOMING. That’s what makes sense from my perspective at least.

What do you guys think about this?

My thoughts here might be absurd, and I might have missed something, I might be completely wrong too, idk really.

What do we know from the new Snoggletog short so far?

Well officially nothing actually xD

We just know thanks to a French interview with Dean DeBlois from Annecy festival (link here) that there will maybe be a short for the Christmas holidays.

Now, unofficially we know some other things...

First, we thought that there was gonna be a short thanks to those images:

But it’s from the new dragons serie: Rescue Riders wich is a kids serie. And it has nothing to do with the short.

Secondly, on insta we saw a couple of recording sessions from Andrée Vermelen, Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera’s stories.

And America even replied to someone about this project:

Finally, we have Richard Hamilton’s tweets that make sense with all the rest.

Thanks to those tweets we can guess it will take place after HTTYD3 because the nightlight will be there.
